3 weeks later-
I spend my days crying and staying in bed. I been avoiding everyone Shawn doesn't really communicate with me only for the sake of the twins but only when he's taking them for the weekends. We decided to just cut everything off a while ago .
"Mommy!" I hear foot steps running to my door I quickly wipe my tears before sitting up in bed .
"Hi baby " I see melanie run to my bed trying to climb up . I pick her up and hug her tightly . Oh how I've missed them .
"Give mommy kiss " she pushes her lips out in the cutest way. I peck her lips putting her back down .
Shawn enters holding sleeping Liam over his shoulder .
"Hey" Shawn smiles at me before softening his facial expression.
My tears flood back up "I'm going to get them ready for bed and then we can talk okay " he frowns I nod feeling my tears fall.
"Come on mel lets go sleepy time " Shawn says in a childish voice holding his hand out for her. Melanie runs past Shawn down the hall .

Shawn's pov
I pull the door in from the twins room and I walk down the hall to sams room.
She just looks so .... broken. She looks up at me with those gray eyes and frown.
"I told him that I was pregnant" she sighs looking down at the ground.
"Well that's good isn't it?" I ask unsure
" he was so happy Shawn all he's ever talks about are children and how this is his dream family a-and I ruined it all I was so stupid" she sobs
"Hey it was more my fault than yours I should have never came onto you I was jealous " I admit "i missed you and we were getting along so I just went for it and it was the wrong thing to do because now you're pregnant and you're unhappy "
She sobs into her hands some more "I just don't want to be alone, I screwed up big time and what am I suppose to tell the kids? he helped raised them majority of their lives"
" I will help you -"
"Shawn you are never home!"
"I'll take a month off"
She shakes her head In disbelief "you have no clue what it's like to raise a child it takes more than just a month "
"I have to work sam and you know that" I run my hand through my hair
"Shawn you and I both have so much money we don't need any more , you can afford to take 5 years off if you wanted"
"It's not about the money sam I'm doing this for my fans I need to stay relevant I can't just disappear "
"You spend more time staying relevant to your fans then your own children!" she gets up and slams the bathroom door .
Sams pov
I'm sick and tired of this he won't even dedicate a year to his children Jesus.
I soak my body in the tub closing my eye . I hear the door creek . "Mommy"
I quickly sit up and look towards the door.
"Yes baby?" I pull on my robe
"Dyl?" Liam looks at me with teary eyes
I sigh deeply scooping him up "Dyl is at work "
I watch his lips start to Trimble "it's okay LI mommys here" he starts to cry anyway.
I sigh running a hand through my hair.
" want to sleep with mommy ?" He nods rubbing his eyes I rest him on the bed quickly getting dressed.
I hear a ringing sound I turn around Liam is on the ipad
"Hi Li Li " I hear a familiar voice cross the room I quickly dragged on my clothes.
"Liam give me " I reach for the iPad I see Dylan face on the screen.
"No!" He shouts holding it away
My jaw drop "don't yell at mommy liam behave " I hear Dylan tell him firmly through the screen.
Liam pouts throwing the iPad on the bed with his arms crossed.
"Be upset all you want" I say picking up the iPad .
"S-sorry I didn't know he was going to call" I stare at the ground.
"Sam" I cant look at him my vision is already blurry
"Hey , it's going to be okay we just need time away from one another it's ALOT to handle right now "
"I know" I wipe my eyes
"Okay kiss the twins goodnight for me" he smiles warmly
"I will" I hiccup holding back my tears. The screen goes blank and I see Liam fast asleep.
I finished getting ready for bed before falling asleep.

"Mel eat your cereal or no park" I warn as she plays with her food.
"No hungry mommy" she leans her head on the table
"Eat a little baby "
I help liam put his shoes on before I hear a weird sound from the kitchen .
I walk to the kitchen to find Mel and The floor covered in throw up.
"It's okay baby " I rub her back as she cry's
"Li Li get mommys phone" he runs to the living room.
"It's okay does your tummy hurt?" I asked wiping her mouth
She nods crying.
"Okay baby lets get you cleaned up then we go to the doctor "
I pull her shirt over her head .
"It's daddy " liam hands me the phone .
Oh liam .
"Hello?"
"Hey what's going on liam was rambling not making much sense something about Mel being sick "
"Yea she just threw up all over the floor I'm going to take her to the hospital " I sigh taking her into the bathroom liam following behind.
"I'm coming over right now " I head shuffling
Keys and then my phone hung up.
"Here Li hold this" I give him my phone helping her into the tub.

"She has a stomach virus and she is dehydrated but we have IV fluids running and we prescribed some medication for her to take twice daily . She will be fine you are free to go after her IV bag is empty should be 5 more minutes" the doctor smiles and leaves the room.
"How you feeling princess?" Shawn ask rubbing her back
She frowns looking at me I can tell she isn't feeling well. Plus she hates needles.
"Its okay baby you will feel all better soon" I rub her head she leans into Shawn's arm .
"I'm staying over tonight" my eyes widen
"No Shawn-"
"Relax it just to watch Melanie and I'll be in the guess room or probably camping out in the kids room"
"It's fine Shawn mel is sleeping in my bed tonight" I sigh grabbing her coat
"Then I will keep liam company"
"Shawn you don't-"
"They're my children too!"
I watch as liam jumps out of his sleep dropping his iPad on the floor.
I walk over to pick it up.
"Sorry to interrupt but I have your discharge papers"
A nurse smiles awkwardly in the situation.
"Thank you" I say as the she unhooks the needle from Mel's arm
She screams before she starts crying Shawn lifts her up ."it's okay baby daddy's here"
I zip up Liam's jacket handing Shawn Melanie's .
