Alek was laying on his bed once more, his fingers still drumming the same song.
"ALI!"
Alek turns his head."Kogan..what are you wearing?" Alek says, his mind still swarming.
Kogan twirls. "MY DETECTIVE COAT! I'm here to get to the bottom of why you're acting weird."
A: (He is too cute)
Alek looks back to the ceiling.
"Ali! You're supposed to do the thing!!"
Alek smiles lightly. He puts his hand on his forehead playing distress. "Oh no! Detective Sir! Please! I need your help!"
Kogan gasps. "Dear sir! What ever is the matter? Why have you been acting in such a way?!"
Alek shrugs. "I'm not sure."
"Not sure? Why, this case is sure to be worse than the missing canary!" Kogan paces slowly, tapping a finger on his chin. "Now then.. when did you start feeling so unsure?"
"I went to talk to father."
Kogan nods. "And what did he say to you?"
"He started accusing Bridgette. He said that she might be using me go get the crown." Alek looked to the window. "The worst part was that there was a moment when..when I thought he was right.."
"Hmm. Now why do you find that so bad?" Kogan pretends to pull a gun on the wall.
L/N: lol they didn't have guns. XD I remember I made it so that Kogan didn't have any restriction on his time period or world knowledge. Carry on, dear readers.
Alek focuses on the window pane, thinking for a moment. "I don't know.. I guess that's why I'm confused."
"This truly is a pickle!" Kogan exclaims. Kogan jumps onto Alek's bed sitting next to his feet. "Well, do you really think Bridgette is taking advantage of you?"
Alek runs a hand through his hair. "It's probable she is. I don't see why she bothers with me. After all I'm a pathetic excuse for a guardian."
Kogan thinks for a moment. "Well you say that but that Timber guy still hasn't won!"
A: (.... yet. BUT YAS KOGI)
Alek sighs. "Sure not the war but battles... I'm at most an inconvenience."
"Is that what you think?" Kogan takes off the hat, pouting.
Alek says nothing, shrugging his shoulders.
"Well we all think you're great!" Kogan smiles, placing the hat on Alek.
"Belief will never make a champion." Alek mutters holding to the hat with one hand.
"Yet it can push us to improve!" Kogan winks.
Alek sits up. "Kogan." He looks up, Kogan's eyes gleaming. "Make sure Bridgette knows that I need some space.. and keep her safe. Don't let anything happen."
Kogan tilts his head. "Why don't you just talk to her?"
Alek shakes his head. "I don't feel like I can. Not now anyway. I will, soon."
"You kept saying you had a promise! You are keeping it right?"
A: (Kogan, asking the real questions XD I'm kidding)
Alek nods. "Of course. If she..if she is hurt because of my actions, come get me. I just would like to think if possible."
Kogan smiles."Okay!" Kogan giggles.
"Hey Kogi?"
Kogan stands up. "Yeah?"
Alek smiles and tosses the hat back. "Thanks."
Kogan catches the hat and smiles happily. "No problem!!" Kogan says as he runs out, closing the door behind him.
Kogan throws the hat into his room, jumping onto his bed.

A/N: Aw... he's a good.
