Lull me to sleep,
Lay me in the whicker basket.
And the river
Will rock me to sleep.

Lay me in a cradle.
And the tree
Will sway me to sleep.
Lull me to sleep,
Lay me in a carriage.
And the horses trot,
Will soothe me to sleep.
Lull me to sleep,
Hold me in your arms.
And you'll calm my beating heart,
So I will sleep in your arms.
