I want to dance all night
With someone who cares,
With somebody who will grow old with me.
Yeah it only happens in movies and books,
I want a happy ending.
I want someone who will support me,
But not have me rely on them.
I want to be equal,
I want to be able to give my opinion.
I wish I could dance all night
With someone who truly loves me,
I want respect,
I want romance
Even though,
There's no such thing as romance,
But I can do without.
If I achieve my goals
Before getting hooked on a guy,
I'll probably end up more successful.
But it's still something,
I want and wish I could have.
