To be completely honest,

If I had met you before I knew what love was,

I probably would have fallen for you right away.

If you were the one person,

I knew,

Who fought for me,

When I couldn't be strong...

I probably would have given you my heart the second you said those three words.

If I was to tell you the truth,

If I could choose to change my past,

I would say,

I wish you were the one I fell madly in love with.

Just so,

Now...

You wouldn't have to deal with my baggage.

You wouldn't have to calm my insecurities.

I wouldn't be afraid to love you unconditionally.

But due to the fact....

You weren't the first love,

You are stuck with the haunted ghosts of the past...

You have to calm my demons.

You have to stroke away the anxiety...

And you have to kiss away the depression.
