Will you explain to me,
Why my heart races
When I speak to you.
Will you help me,
Understand
The nerves that race.
Will you tell me,
What is wrong with me
For running away?
Will someone show me,
The explanation
Of this fear?
Why is it frightening
To get close to someone,
To trust them?
Why is it painful
To open up
And show who you are?
I want explanations,
But no one has them.
And there's no way to answer them yourself
