Absence 12-11-18

Chitter of a normal day,
But something is missing.
Something so small,
Most don't notice it.

An old smile,
A simple voice,
Of only one...
Who is absent.

And in their place,
The darkness sits,
Even your shadow,
Can't take his place.

His laughter,
Missed and craved.
Gone for another day.
