Loving you was like taking in a deep breath,
And plunging myself into the cold water.
It was like,
Suffocating myself in my blanket,
At night when it's cold.

Feeling your body on mine,
Was intoxicating,
Like that shot or whiskey.
Our love,
Was dangerous.
Both hearts were out on the line.
But,
Only mine was damaged in the wreck.

Drowning myself,
I became dead to you.
Even though,
I slipped through the grasp you had on my neck,
I died from the lack of oxygen.

I allowed my heart,
To bleed out.
I allowed my mind to give up.
My mind and body,
Committed suicide.

Lying at your feet,
In a bloody head,
You turned around.
Just leaving me there.
