How can I be true to myself,
When you aren't in my life?
You were my everything,
I saw my future
In your eyes.
You held my heart in your hands,
Your voice lulled me to sleep.
But now you're gone,
Not even messaging me.
Not talking to me,
Or reaching out.
I don't want to go another half of a year,
Or even full year without you.
Please don't do this to me.
I'm sorry,
Please take my apologies.
I need you like no other.
You are my everything...

Staying true to Myself,
Is staying true to you.
I dream of you and I,
You don't understand,
It is so hard for me.
I know you probably hate my guts,
I probably hurt you.
And you don't want to let me back in,
But I swear,
I won't do that to you.
I was the one who opened up,
And helped you.
I let myself fall in love with you,
And you fell in love with me.
You are my world.
You helped me through hard times.
I love you.
And I hope you love me.
