"No,
Don't you even dare..."
I whispered out a chocking sob,
As he desperately grabbed my hands.
The once familiar face,
Looked like a stranger now.
His voice,
Sounded chocked up as he spoke his words of affection,
That stabbed into my heart.
Forcing my flame I had buried,
Be rekindled with a hungry flame.
Wanting to lap him up,
And burn him into ashes.
I listened to him with pure hatred that covered my pain like a blanket.
"I want you for forever.
I've always have..."Tears stung my eyes,
Burning,
Black mascara streaks,
Streamed down my cheeks.
Trying to swallow the lump in my throat,
I barked out in anger,
"That never stopped you before!
Your love for me,
Never kept you from hurting me...
How could you utter out the words of a love song,
That doesn't exist?
How can you say forever,
When all you did was lie to me?
How can you love me forever,
If you don't love and want me right now?"
And with that,
He let go of me.
Turning away,
He left me.
Leaving me in the past.
