Thank God For You October 13

When the sun was slowly,
Retiring,
From shining bright,
The stars and moon arose,
Taking the sun's place.
They kissed the sun good bye,
And watched upon the people of the Earth.
There layed a boy and girl,
Different homes,
But hearts in the same place.
They watched as the boy,
Showed the girl his heart,
Once more,
Just like every other night.
And the girl,
Thanked God,
Just like every other night before,
For having someone to call her own,
And to call,
Her love.
