Twist,
And turn,
Flip,
And fall.
Sit,
And cry.
Sniff,
And blow your nose.
Rubs your eyes,
And stand up.
Walk,
Then jog.
Hide the inner emotions.
Turn,
And Dodge,
The people in the streets.
Avoid,
And duck
Behind the people walking,
So they don't see you.
Plug in,
And turn volume up,
So their voice don't fill your ears,
Tears well up,
And pour down,
Causing red puffy cheeks.
Unlock door,
Slam it close.
Run up the stairs,
Open bedroom door,
Closes and plops on to the bed.
Pulls stuffed animals close,
Sobs into pillows,
Clutches the blankets.
Heart tears,
And head hurts.
Tears keep coming,
Causing a runny nose.
Inner emotions
Of a broken heart.
The pain of seeing
And hearing them.
