Curled up in a ball,
In the dark closet.
Yelling and screaming
Fill the empty space.
Hot tears are rolling down each cheek.
Sadness and knowledge
That things won't get better.
But as time went on,
Opportunities to attend a place
Where you're accepted,
Just seemed to be a dream.
Then a friend spoke up,
And asked to take her,
So she said why not.
Then she met him...
He filled the little girl with love,
It was as if her prayers were answered.
God,
Listened and swooped in to save her life.
Things seemed to get better,
But wandering from him...
Was the worst thing she could do.
Life takes twists and turns,
She ended up in worst situations then she originally was in.
Now,
She's in a state of frustration,
She doesn't know what to do.
If she could,
She'd change her choices.
But she prays so hard,
God please don't leave me.
I need you more then anything.
You are the only father in my life,
You've always forgiven me,
Which I have taken for granted,
But please don't leave me now.
Be there for me,
And lead me to the right road.
I'm sorry for everything I have done.
