Every time I take a step away,
The wind starts to rile up.
Tugging at my shirt and hair.
Calling me back to the place where I belong.
Trying to pull me back to you.
The sky lets go of the tears its been holding back,
The very moment I let go of your hand.
Looking back,
Watching you watch me leave,
Forces the invisible lump in my throat grow.
Knowing that this feeling is killing you,
I hold back the sob that has threatened to come out.
How could you let me leave every time I see you?
The sad truth you know that we both can't ignore.
The fact...
Everything in this world doesn't want us to be together.
Two lost souls,
Who met,
And fell in love.
Always being torn apart.
Always forced to let go of the other.
