Locked up in this room of isolation.
Wrapped up in this straight jacket.
A mask,
Covers my face,
Sealing my lips closed.
I watch as people pass me by,
Doctors talking as if I'm not there listening.
They inject me with needles containing various serums and chemicals.
Feeling the chemicals coursing through my veins.
Hot tears burn my eyes and skin.
Laughter fills my ears,
Swallowing me up,
Like the Earth swallows up the unwanted.
