Is It Really My Fault? 12-4-19

Drawing me in like an innocent angel,

Your words turned into the only thing that could satisfy my sweet tooth.

Your lips,

Became my weakness.

Every word you spoke,

Drew me in like a fool,

Leaving me to want more.

Seeing your eyes light up with every pet name,

My heart melted.

How could something so precious like you been created?

My heart was stolen by those big baby blue eyes....

But then,

You became the devil.

Your words got dirty,

And so did your actions.

You gave yourself to others,

And played me like a checkers game.

Your lies surrounded me,

Making me realize....

No matter what I say or do,

Will stop the outcome of your choices.

So I took it upon myself,

And I broke my own heart.

I closed every door you had opened,

As you screamed at me,

Saying,

Everything was my fault.
