This is kinda long with a little bit of smut, and some mild language. Don't like, please don't read. This is also unedited so there will be some mistakes I hope to be editing this in a couple days.

Poppy took a step inside her high school and her nose instantly flared smelling something new and wonderful. She paused inside he doorway trying to find the source of the smell but she was pushed forward my Aaron, pushing her slightly and out of his way. He grumbled at her, trudging on. Poppy barred her fangs not exactly taking his aggression lying down but smart enough not to fully piss him off or challenge him.

the interruption snapped her out of it but as she walked towards her locker the scent seemed all over the place. It was so strange. Nothing had really called to her as this scent did and the unfamiliarity f it put her on edge. Her stomach turned with blossoming anxiety.

She got the books she need out of her locker and went to her homeroom. Sitting in their usual spot were her few friends Haylee and Mira. She took her usual spot and smiled somewhat weakly at the pair.

"What's up with you?" Mira asked seeing the strange look on her best friend's face.

"Nothing" she lied. "My stomach is a little upset that's all."

"That's not good" Haylee said smirking, not actually sounding upset at all. "Because it's going to be a sorts of twisted up in third period."

Poppy furrowed her brows at her excited friend. "What do you mean?"

"Apparently over the weekend Mr. Ross got hurt. So they called in a substitute to fill in for him for a couple weeks. And Elizabeth says she saw him in the office this morning and he's sinfully gorgeous" Haylee gossiped.

Poppy rolled her eyes a little. "Elizabeth thought Mr. Kore was hot" Poppy pointed out, not at all thinking Elizabeth had good choice in men.

"I totally understand but she told me herself and I believe the look in her eyes" Haylee said.

"Whatever" Poppy said smiling a little. The tightening in her stomach loosened some from the distraction that was her goofball friend.

"How was your weekend?" Mira asked.

"Uneventful besides having to listen to my brother fight with parents all Sunday" Poppy groaned.

"Why were they fighting?" Mira asked.

Poppy rolled her eyes. "Mason wants to apply to this program in London, but my parents were against it since he still has poor control over his wolf."

"How boring" Haylee said.

"I know. What about you?" she asked.

Hey began to tell about her weekend having much more fun than her friend, but as cut off mid story by the bell ringing and the morning announcements coming on.

As soon as first period started her stomach was back in knots. She ignored it mostly listening to the lesson, but in second period she found it difficult as she was beginning to feel a bit nauseous. Why had Haylee's story put her on edge? It was just some new guy. It didn't make sense to the girl.

She walked to her third period class feeling like her shoes had been filled with concrete. Each step felt as if it thudded loudly against the tile floor. But everyone just moved around her normally. Perhaps she was going slower and that's why it felt like everyone rushed past her. Haylee caught up with her when she was almost to the door.

"There you are" she grinned excitedly. "I've been waiting forever. We should walk in together so we look more confident."

Poppy rolled her eyes trying to feign as normal as possible, but her stomach felt like it was in a full revolt. Her legs began to feel like noddle and her hands began to tremble. Was she sick? Had she been poisoned?
