You Can't Avoid Me

This is just an idea for a story I had.  There is some swearing and a tiny dash of nudity but there is no smut. I hope you like it and I'd love to know what you thought of it. 

I walked into the cafeteria, my stomach growling ferociously, but for nothing they offered. I walked around the crowded area searching for something as I felt on the verge of passing out from hunger. Settling on a small package of grapes and  slice of pizza, I paid for my food and went to an empty table to eat my lunch. 

Being the new girl wasn't as fun as all the sitcoms made it out to be. It sucked. I had no friends and to add the cherry on top there was a pack of wolves going to this high school. 

Yes werewolves were very much a thing and very dangerous. Depending on how you looked at them. It's not that they attacked humans it's that they were horny dogs looking for someone to call a mate. And I did not want to be the unlucky one chosen. 

Most people don't know about wolves, they're careful to keep their existence in the shadows but lucky for me my best friend is a wolf and he told me a long time ago. It was weird at first  to think of the boy I'd known for most of my life to transform into a wolf but I'd fully accepted it and him. 

I was picking at my pizza when chills ran up my spin making me shiver. I felt odd and I couldn't place it. It felt like I was being watched. I always thought that sounded kinda stupid but feeling this right now I finally understood. 

I gazed around the room, and I landed on a pair of green eyes that for sure were staring at me. The eyes in question belonged to a boy looking my age, ans he was staring at me unabashedly. He was cute I had to admit. Looking taller than me with a small smile and dazzling eyes. 

Did I just say dazzling? What hell is wrong with me?

But damn they were beautiful. He had a cute face to match and something about him just seemed at ease and sweet. He sat back lazily in his seat and his toned body was relaxed. I thought back and I hadn't seen him before. I rolled my eyes at myself. I'd barely been here a week. This was the first day of my second week at Tredgores High school. 

We were staring at each other, not giving a shit about any type of manners. The situation made me giggle a little. He saw my smile and a smile was returned on his cute mug. He tilt his head to the side cutely. I did the same tilting my head and sticking my tongue out just a tad. His smile turned to a hot smirk and his eyes seemed to pierce right through me. 

Hot damn! I didn't know I was gonna need to bring an extra pair of panties to school today. 

My cheeks warmed as I'm sure I blushed horribly. 

Our little moment was ruined by the guy sitting next to him calling him and getting his attention. It was then that I took notice to the table he was sitting at. You would not believe how fast my heart sank to my ass and a breeze blew through my now cold insides. He was sitting at the table with the pack of wolves. He's a werewolf. He's a fucking wolf!

I turned back to my empty table and stared at the fake wood of the table like it had just grown a face and started talking to me. 

All appetite was lost as fear welled inside me. If he thought...if he thinks I'm...his... I couldn't even think it. 

Any appetite I had was gone. I quickly packed up my few things, throwing now unwanted and barely touched food away before leaving the cafeteria and fast walking away. I'm not sure where I was going. I just knew I had to get away from that place. 

I decided upon the library finding a spot in a comfy chair hidden in the back. I sighed sinking down into it's cushion. 

Speaking of wolves. My phone buzzed and I knew exactly who it was. It was the only person to ever text me. The perks of only having one friend is knowing who is texting you. Marko. I smiled fishing my phone out of my pocket and seeing what he wanted. Marko was a year older then me and off to college. But we kept in touch and talked like we still lived down the street from each other.
