Laxus x OC ~ Hellbent

Fairy Tail was it lively self, buzzing with laughter and a bit of fighting.
But the good times were interrupted when the doors were flung open and two council guards wheeling in a box made the guild go quiet. Everyone watched with curiosity what could have been in such a large box.
They stopped before Makarov who was looking at them with an angry glare.
"You were supposed to do this tomorrow?"
He'd lied to the guild and had hoped to do this in secrecy.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances the package had to be delivered earlier." One of the guards came forward and held out a contract. "You must sign this, agreeing to the terms of taking hold of the package. It is to stay near you at all times and should an escape be made the council authorizes deadly force or the execution. Do you agree to these terms?"
Makarov signed the contract. "I agree."
The guard stepped back. "The council wishes you luck." The guard took out a key and stuck it in the lock in the dead center of the box.
"You know that kind of looks like a coffin" Gajeel said offhandedly.
The guard unlocked the box and a body fell to the guild floor.
Lucy screamed with horror. "It's a dead body!"
The guards left quickly. Master Makarov sighed jumping down from his spot on top of the table. "It's not a dead body. I had hoped to do this while you were away" he said.
He went to the woman on the floor and cast a spell removing the first of many anti-magic restraints.
The woman had yet to move.
Laxus looked at her curious. She looked around his age with white hair and a beautiful face.
"What's going on master?" Mira asked.
"I didn't want you to see this. I didn't want you to be scared of her or have preconceived notions about her."
"Who is she?" Gray asked.
"This is Kuren Allieair." As he expected most hadn't heard of her. It was the councils plan to mostly keep her identity a secret. They didn't want the public to know of what she'd done.
But one did gasp having heard of the name.
Laxus gasped staring hard at the woman on the ground. He didn't believe that this was the deadly assassin his grandfather had told her about.
"Should we recognize the name?" Natsu asked confused.
"No" Makarov said. "Her crimes were kept under wrap and only a few know of her."
"Crimes?" Erza questioned.
"Yes. Kuren is an assassin from a dark guild. Said to be one of the very best."
The guild was in shock.
Then there was a scoff. A shaky voice spoke, "One of the best?! I am the best."
Kuren was moving shakily and groggily.
Makarov was surprised. He hadn't thought they'd hear a peep from her for a day.
He cast another spell and the cuffs restraining her arms disappeared. She rolled into her stomach and groaned.
She struggled to get up. Her arms shook as she tried to lift herself up but fell, still too weak.
"Okay what's going on Master?" Gray inquired.
"I have decided I am going to restore Kuren's heart. It was taken over by darkness. So she will be staying with us until she comes around. I made a deal with the council and they put her under my care. They were unsure of letting her out of her prison but I was able to convince them."
"You old fuck" Kuren swore. "I swear when I get my power back." She dug her hands into the floor, digging up the wood floor. "I'll strangle every last bit of life out of you."
Lucy looked at her appalled. "Shouldn't you be grateful to the man who got you out of prison?"

Kuren turned her head towards where Lucy stood but she was unable to open her eyes. That was the final binding around her. "Why would I be grateful to the man who put me there?" she snarled angrily.

Master frowned. "I captured you for your misdeeds but it was my intention to rehabilitate you. It was the council who decided to lock you away."
Kuren kept struggling to get up but no matter how much she fought and pushed the paralysis of her body she couldn't get herself up.
Makarov strapped a silver collar around her neck and sealed it. "Listen up, there will be a couple new rules enacted while Kuren is here. Never touch her collar! Any other magic that should touch it releases the spell and sets her free. Secondly, you will not treat her any differently than you would any other wizard in this guild. And thirdly only S-class wizards may interact with her!"
