Chapter 4: What are we exactly?

So let me skip the boring stuff. Not much happened for a week. Corey and I would flirt and it felt wonderful when we just sat on the couch next to each other and watched a movie. Corey always held me close.

The next weekend I went to another club with Corey and Ryan. Corey was the designated driver. I was in the club for half an hour before a guy came over to me. I smiled at him and after a little talking we were on the dance floor. I didn't remember his name but I did remember he was handsy. He kept trying to grab my ass and each time I shooed his hands away.

I made an excuse and went over to Corey. He had been glaring at me the whole time we were dancing. "What's up with you?" I asked semi curious, semi annoyed with his constant glare.

"Nothing" he said and looked away. I know something is bothering him.

"You can tell me." I sat down at the table with him. His gray blue eyes met mine and they were icy. I met his stare and slowly I backed down. Corey had never looked so mad at me. "What? What did I do?"

"You don't have to dance so close to guys like that."

"That's what you're so mad about?" Corey just glared at me. It was like staring a bull in the face. I had no idea what he was going to do.

"I'm not mad" he said in denial. "I just think your dancing too close to guys. It's slutty." Did he just call me slutty? That was it, I got mad. I glared at him I saw in Corey's eyes as he realized he said something wrong. "Wait I didn't-" I stormed off without hearing what he had to say. Fuck him.

I went to the bar and ordered a drink. The bartender was a very attractive man and he said it was on the house. I smiled at him and tossed back the shot. I went further into the back of the club and not so innocent things were going on. I was alone for all of ten minutes before a man came up to me.

"I couldn't help but notice you and I can't believe you are alone." I smiled at him. He was taller than me by a few inches and his blonde hair was gelled back. He was very h-o-t hot.

"What makes you think I'm alone?"

"If any man were lucky enough to have you he wouldn't let you out of his sight." His gaze went over my body and I saw the hunger. "I know I wouldn't."

I chuckled. "Well then maybe you should stay close, or I might disappear."

The man came closer. His body was just an inch from mine. "Mmmm," he hummed, "I wouldn't want that to happen. Let me buy you a drink."

"Before I let you buy me a drink, I'll need to know your name."

He grinned and I only made him look even sexier. "Bryan, Bryan Davis. And what is yours?"

"Emma."

I followed Bryan back to the bar and he ordered us both shots. I tossed it back and Bryan smiled at me after I recovered from the burn. He led me to the dance floor. We danced for a while and Bryan had a way with the music. He knew how to rock to the music. He knew how to rock against me. In the middle of a song a waitress came over to me. She handed me a drink. She leaned over and said "Compliments of the gentleman by the bar." I looked over and a very sexy man was grinning at me. I smiled and took a sip of the drink.

Bryan leaned down in my ear and said "It seems I have some competition. I'll have to work extra hard to make sure I'm the one you chose." That wasn't going to happen. I already know who I want and he called me slutty. I ignored his comment and went back to dancing. My mood was brought back down and I wanted to sit down.

I looked back and Bryan's face was still close to mine. "I want to go sit down." He nodded and led us to a table. I sat down across from him. I sipped the drink and looked everywhere but Bryan. It was awkward.
