It had been a couple days since Vernon had left and having settled into their new house for the time being it was time to start training. They began firstly with working on strengthening Meena's wings. She still lacked a master of control of them but Meena was eager and persistent.

Amora showed her how to stretch them out and Meena tried to her best to reciprocate. They varied their training between stretches and having her copy movements to help her gain more control. And for strength Amora gently held her wings and told her to fight her grasp, lifting her wings. Amora had to admit the scrunched up face Meena made while trying to pull her wings up was adorable.

Meena exhaled loudly, dropping her shoulders and her wings after pushing as hard as she could against Amora's hold.

"Very good" Amora praised her. "I think your wings will be strong enough to fly sooner than I thought."

Meena beamed at the prospect of being able to fly soon. "Really?!" Amora nodded giving her a small smile.

They had moved on to stretches when  Amora sensed a pair walking onto the field. Stephen and a very excited Max joined them.

"Meena!" Max called. She spun to see who called her, waving excitedly when she swathe young boy running towards her with a giant grin. "Are you ready to start training?" He ran up to her and bounced around her.

Amora noticed the slight nervousness in her eyes but she was also still excited. She nodded, giving Max a grin of her own.

"I will be over here if you need me Saoulla" Amora said leaving the pair. She sat under a tree at the edge of the field to watch.

Stephen spoke a little of what they would be doing, explaining to Meena how this would help her, though the slightly vacant look in her eyes said she may not have understood it all.

Then they transformed and Max could only partly transform just as Meena. Amora wondered if he was a human shifter hybrid or if shifters just couldn't fully shift until they were fully matured. She knew very little about their biology, and more about their psychology.

Max had dark grey ears sticking out of his mop of brown hair. The tail protruding from his back was the same color, wagging with obvious excitement. Meena's white ears contrasted greatly not only from her brown hair but also the scenery around her. Her tail, equally as snow white, was steady behind her, not as energetic as Max's.

"Now Max, I want you to remember to reign in your strength" Stephen said in a soft warning. "She is younger than you and I do not want any injuries."

Amora had the urge to roll her eyes. Shifters, she thought, they always thought they were top dog. She knew the beta hadn't taken into account that Meena was part angel. She was effortlessly strong.

They began to play wrestle, Stephen coaching them as well as gauging their abilities. At first it was obvious she was hesitant, and Max was much more aggressive. He dominated her but by the third fight Meena got a hang of it. Surprising both Max and Stephen she flipped the young boy, sending him flying to the ground. He landed face first and it must have been a shock for the boy as he just laid there a moment.

Stephen pushed the shock off his face to help him up and make sure he was okay. Max growled, not liking being flipped much and sprang at her with a tackle. Meena seemed to play with him realizing how effortlessly strong she was. Finding it easier now that she knew what to do, she flipping him again, this time throwing him on his back.
