Child! Eustass Kidd x OC

A bright light flashing in Eustass Kidd's eyes blinding him, and making him lift his arm to try and block out the extreme light. A swift kick landed on his chest and he flew back, crashing into a cart and knocking the wind out of him. He laid there a moment. 

When he felt somewhat better he got up and looked around. Everything was still a little blurry for him as his eyes were still adjusting back to normal. He stumbled a little, almost falling but catching himself on a pole. It felt weird though. He looked around and there was another pole right next to it. The poles were weird. They were warm and squishy. 

A throat was cleared. He looked up and leaning over and looking down at him was a woman with irritated eyes. 

It was then that he realized he wasn't holding onto weird poles. He was standing between her legs holding onto her left leg. 

"What are you doing?" she asked.

"How tall are you?" he asked. His voice sounded weird. 

She scrunched a brow at him looking a little confused. "What do you mean? I'm only 5'8."

His eyes opened wide. "What? That can't be I'm 6'3!" 

Her face turned to extreme confusion. "6'3? Kid you're lucky if your 4 foot." 

Kidd looked down at his hands. They were smaller. "How can this be! I've been shrunk." 

The woman chuckled, moving so he wasn't standing between her legs. "You have quite the imagination kid." 

He looked up scowling. "Do I look like myself?" he asked. 

"In order to answer that I would have to know what you looked like before" she giggled. 

He rolled his eyes. "How old do I look?" he asked. 

She tilt her head. "Oh I'd say no older than seven." 

His jaw dropped. He ran to the store next to them and the reflection of a small red haired boy staring back at him. "I haven't been shrunk, I've been turned into a child!" 

The woman came up to him and put a gentle hand on his head. "A cute little kid." 

He pushed her hand away and turned to her with fire in his belly. "I am not cute! I am the captain of a band of pirates! I have a bounty of 315,000,000 belie. "

She smirked at him. "So what your saying is I should turn you into the marines." She gave him an evil glare. 

Kidd swallowed hard wondering is this is where he was going to die. "N-n-no" he stuttered. 

She giggled giving him the sweet smile as before. "Easy kid, I was just kidding." She put her hand on top of his head. "They wouldn't believe you were actually that pirate anyway." Kidd stared up at her with sad eyes. "Hey, don't get upset" she cooed. She crouched down to be about the same height as him. "I didn't mean to make you upset." She wiped his eye and took some wetness with it. 

"I'm not!" he cried miserably. 

She gave a sad smile. "Then I suppose this is just your allergies acting up?" She showed him the tear she'd captured on her finger. 

Kidd pouted at her. 

"How about I make it up to you?" She hugged him close. "Ice cream on me?"

"I don't like ice cream" he said. Kidd was never one to have much of a sweet tooth. 

"That's too bad because I love ice cream and I now a little place that has the best ice cream in town."

"I prefer sake" he said. She laughed heartily, picking him up. "H-hey! Put me down!" he demanded with a slight stutter.
