I Woke Up Like This Pt 2

Jamie sighed, her "boyfriend" was supposed to pick her up and she had no clue how this "Jeremy" acted. At least she thought that.

Eventually she got a text and pulled out her phone to open it. Lucky her the password was the same.

Riend<3: I'm here Heere.

Boyf: ok. Be out in a minute.

Riend<3: alright. Mahal Kita <3

Boyf: Mahal din Kita.

Jamie gagged mentally, the thought of being with somebody other than Mikayla killing her, even though this technically WAS Mikayla, but male.

She walked downstairs after shoving her shoes on and opened the door to a tall boy with caramel colored skin, a red hoodie(patches pretty much same as Mikayla except the lesbian patch is a gay patch. Duh) covered in patches, ungodly sized headphones, short black hair, and somewhat large glasses that bordered his chocolate brown eyes quite nicely.

"Hey JereBear. So I got here early so we could stop by Sev/Elev and grab some slushies from my hookup. You remember Jason, right?"

"That would be Jessica if I remember correctly. She always hooked Mikayla up with Slushies."

"Yeah I remember him. The guy in the trench coat right?" Thank goodness for Jamie's memory.

"Yep! After that we go to an arcade, then the convention, where we meet up with Jake and Rich."

"That must by Jackie and Ria. Yeah probably them."

"Sounds fun. We goin now?"

"Yep!" Michael grabbed Jamie's hand and dragged her to the car.

This would be... interesting.

(Meanwhile)

Jeremy sat in the car, bouncing his legs to try and ignore the fact he was a girl.

They'd already stopped by the Seven/Eleven, where Jeremy met Jessica, which he knew was the counterpart to Jason.

They opened the doors to the arcade and Jeremy smiled at the familiar sight...well everybody he knew swapped genders but other than that.

"Oh lookit this! They reinstalled the two player Pac-Man! We should totally play!" Mikayla said, dragging Jeremy behind her. "Ready Player Two?"

"You bet I'm ready, Player One." Jeremy and Mikayla played the game for a while until their phones went off.

Let's say they beat the high score. They answered the texts to see Ria and Jackie telling them to get to the convention.

"Hey when we get there we gotta change into our costumes." Mikayla said, grabbing Jeremy's hand as they went to the prize corner to get their prizes before leaving(they got matching Pac-Man hats.).

"Oh yeah. What did you get us?"

"I decided for us to go old school, since Ria and Jackie are dressing as Tracer and WidowMaker(note: video game characters are not swapped), we could dress as Mario and Peach! Of course, I am being Mario, because I look great in red." Mikayla said and Jeremy smiled.

He should've known that anybody who shared Michael's mindset would get that cosplay.

(Meanwhile again)

Jamie waited for Michael to pay for his slushy but he was taking way too long talking to Jason. She didn't want to hurry him though because he thought she was Jeremy.

She didn't want to go and ruin somebody's life.

They finally went to leave, and Michael drove then to an arcade as he could because he was really excited.

"He really IS Mikayla. He's even got the same little light in his eyes when he talks about games. I think you can calm down now. Why am I talking to myself? Jamie stop it. Just focus on your date and getting home."

The arcade was the same as it was back in Jamie's world, which made it easy for her to find things.

She ended up watching Michael play an old Galaga machine for like ten minutes. They had no snack money when he was done(based on something I did irl. Note they don't do the same thing in both universes, thus Michael played Galaga because the two player Pac-Man wasn't open)

They got matching sweatbands(the big ones for arms) from the gift shop with an array of retro game characters on it.

They got to the car when Michael's phone went off.

"Oh Rich and Jake are spamming me we should probably get our butts over to the convention." Michael said and Jamie nodded, following him as he opened the trunk to reveal some costumes. "Since Rich and Jake are going as a modern video game ship, I called old school. And obscure."

Jamie kind of recognized the costumes because Mikayla had the same ones at home.

"You get to be Weege and I will be Peasley! How's that for an awesome cosplay!?" Michael seemed to take way to much pride in the costumes.

"Awesome!! We gonna change at the convention?"

"Yep." With that, the trunk was closed and the two got into the front seat of the car.

"Things will be alright. Maybe it's not physically Mikayla but you don't wanna hurt his relationship with male you...Maybe your date back home is going good..."

And that is all for part 2. Yeah there may be one or two parts left. I really wanna finish the Christmas mini story I'm writing so like....yeah.

Also help me think of a cosplay Rich and Jake can do! I can't think of any for some reason(it's 6 in the morning maybe that's why)
