GIA POV
Some may say I have the easiest job. Well I do sort of. But that's the main reason I went for this job because well it's on a beach and I don't have to do much.
I've met so many people since I've been working here. Most people know me as the party girl. I was the one who was always invited to the parties. That's when my mistake took place.
I felt the mood coming up. Keeping this secret for sometime now and I don't want it. I know a child wouldn't fit into my crazy life. Plus, I'm not ready to be a mom.
"Gia you're late" my boss said. Turning around I faked smiled and continued walking. It was hot today. And this pregnancy is going to drive me crazy today. "And Gia start lining up the chairs from the shore line to here".
I nodded. Not really in the mood to talk to him. My boss isn't like most old bald grumpy ones. He was in his 30s but he was cool. He was in touch with all the in things.
"Gigi baby come here" my coworker and best friend yelled. She ran over to me and hugged me. "I thought you wasn't coming I was about to fake sick so I could leave" she joked.
"You know damn well you would do that. That's why you're my ride or die bitch". She laughed and we just started messing around not working.
"Can you girls try and work today?" My boss asked. We both rolled our eyes. "Yo ever since that party where you two hooked up he's been grumpy. Maybe you should let him hit it again".
"Umm no boo boo. That one time was a mistake. I'm good".
"Yeah but you can't say it wasn't good" she flipped her hair over her shoulders.
"Eww, don't ever say that" I screamed. But she wasn't lying. He was better than I expected. And this is the reason why I need to handle this pregnancy before he finds out.
"Damn I need to ask the boss man for Tuesday off" I started putting my hair up since the heat was rising.
"Good luck. He's been so not himself lately I doubt you'll get that day off". Shit, he better or I'm not coming in.
"Well let me go ask him now. I'll see you on break" she nodded and walked off.
Walking back to the main office. And let me tell you that was a long ass walk. Got me all out of breath. Opening the door to his office he jumps "Gia can't you knock like everyone else".
"No but I need Tuesday off I have to handle something important".
"I can't give you that day off, sorry" he just stared at me. Not for nothing us women who work here don't really wear much. It's just my bathing suit and I have a sleeveless work shirt on .
"Why not?. And I know you aren't short staff either". This man has me fucked up literally.
"Because I can't So the answer is no you can't have Tuesday off. Now get back to work and work this time".
"Wait a damn minute... if you're in a bad mood don't take it out on me. I have something important to do Tuesday so either I'm off or I'm not showing up" crossing my hands over my chest I wasn't breaking.
"Or you will be jobless. So I would be a good girl and show up on Tuesday" he warned.
"You wouldn't".
"Call me bluff. Or you can tell me what you need Tuesday off for. And I want to know what's the emergency". Why does it feel like he knows what he did?.
"Womanly problems and I need to see a special doctor" I lied. Ever since we hooked up that one time he's been way too possessive with me. Making sure I'm not hanging out with other guys.
"Like?" He started rubbing his chin. Now he's pissing me off.
"Why does it matter? I just told you it's womanly problems".
"That's not specific enough for me" he smirked.
"You know I'm starting to hate you more and more everyday".
"I'm waiting" he continued to stare at me. You ever have someone stare at you and you can tell the Look was more than just a stare.
"I have to remove something" I white lied.
"Like a surgery?" He asked.
"Umm yeah okay something like it but I will need a pill to remove it".
"Like an abortion?" He was now standing closer to me.
"Umm yeah okay exactly. So I need off Tuesday" I didn't even look at him I know he's staring me down right now putting the pieces together.
"How long have you been pregnant?" He walked over to the door and closed it.
"Who knows but I am. So yes or no" I didn't want to discuss something that won't be there soon.
He didn't say anything for a couple of minutes. The thoughts were going through his head. After a weird silence "no make sure you're here Tuesday". He opened up the door and watched me.
"Unbelievable! I'll just reschedule for the weekend then" I smirked and walked out.
That night was a mistake. We don't even like each other like that anyway. Shit if anything I'm doing him a favor.
