GIA POV

Finally after two weeks kairo pulled through and we got the green light to take him back home. In which we did and now he's been settling for the past couple of days. Delano took time off work to help around with Ryan and Kairo. Which I'm so thankful for.

Holding kairo I was trying to eat something. Delano saw my struggle and motioned me to sit down. He got me a bowl and some cereal and poured the milk in it. He placed it infront of me "Thank you". He smiled and just watched me for a second.

I don't know what happened on vacation but we are in a better place. For how long? Good question. But I'm trying everything not to mess this up. He nodded "for you? No problem (by the way what does that mean when someone says that to you. Sounds flirty to me).

Ryan came running down and hopping into the seat. "Can you be a little quiet your baby brother is sleeping". He nodded and put his finger up to his mouth "sorry mommy".

Delano joined us at the table. "Want me to take the baby so you can eat?". I nodded "yeah cause I've been struggling". Handing kairo to Delano... and just watching how careful he is. Just like with Ryan. It seems fatherhood came natural to him. We were enjoying a nice family breakfast. It just took us literally years to do this.

A knock at the door made us look at each other. "Expecting anyone?" He asked. Shaking my head "Nope, you?". He did the same gesture. He got up and went to answer the door. Hearing a females voice...

DELANO POV

Enjoying this morning with my family. It took us a while to get to this place. Until someone unexpectedly showed up. I wasn't expecting anyone and neither was Gia. Especially since I told Bria she couldn't come around a bit.

Walking to the door and opening it. "Oh you're back!" Ava said with a smile.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Oh well listen to how small the world is. My brother was staying at the same condo Gia was. And he told me they went on a date. And I thought wow didn't know she could move on so quickly" she said.

Sighing because I'm in no mood for this right now. Looking behind me to see if Gia decided to be Nosey and walk in here. But she didn't.

"Ava Listen I honestly don't care. And I'm for sure she didn't go on any date with him. Cause when he tried I sabotaged that" I said.

"Are you sure?...cause he was pretty excited about telling me about their date". I rolled my eyes cause she kept trying. "I'm hundred percent sure. And tell your brother if I see him again near my girlfriend soon to be fiancée I won't hesitate to beat his ass".

Ava gasped "Delano really? You would stoop that low for her?!".

"Her? You mean Gia and yes I will. I have my family inside and I'm happy. So go find someone else to prey your claws on. Cause I surely don't want any of you. Gia is all I need and want". She stormed away from the front step and sped off in her car. Gia came from the kitchen "who was that?".

Turning around "that unfortunately Ava". She nodded "oh. And what did she want?".

"She wanted to break us up by spreading lies of you going on a date with Noah. I told her it's not true, right?" I asked. She raised her brow "really? Weren't you the same one who came to stop us with no shirt on? And your standing here asking me if you're right?".

"It's a simple yes or no. There's no reason to argue about it". She rolled her eyes "the family time lasted for about an hour before it shakes up again". Before she could walk away from me I stopped her "Listen I really wasn't trying to argue. It was just a figure of speech that's all. I know you didn't go on a date with him. I trust you when you say you didn't".

She stared at me for a second "Okay... but don't ask questions like that. It could be taken the wrong way".

"You're right. Don't want to get you upset. I think you're dealing with enough stress" I pulled her into me gently because she was holding our son. "Remember I love you... that's all you need to know". She gave me a small smile "love you too. But let me go put kairo down". I nodded "okay". She disappeared into the rooms.

That argument could've been a lot worse. Thank goodness she was willingly to hear me out before jumping to conclusions.

We still need a lot of work before our relationship is at a normal stage. But right now I'm content. But I really do mean if Noah shows his face here or if I see him anywhere near Gia I will beat his ass. That's a promise.

HONESTLY I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO WRITE ANYMORE...
