Delano POV

After that issue at the store Gia wasn't herself. She somewhat closed herself off. The last thing I need is for to go back to where she was. Money is never an issue for me. I'm not rich but I have money. I come from a family that has money but I never used them for it. I rather make money on my own.

Gia wanted to go out with Bria today. I wasn't going to argue with her about that. I gave her some money just Incase she found something for the baby she liked.

"Hi Delano!" Bria waved at me.

"Hey Bria, where are you girls going today?" I asked being nosey.

She shrugged "I don't know we haven't figured that out yet. But trust me she's in good hands".

"Good and make sure she enjoys herself" she nodded. I had other things to handle. Smiling I walked out leaving them there. First I had to go see my mom whose been asking for me. And then I wanted to handle that woman to dampened on our parade that day.

Once I got my mothers house my sister was there as well. Raising my brow I turned my attention to my mother who was smiling at me.

"What's this about?" I asked.

"Well I heard I'm going to be a grandmother and you couldn't even tell me" she scolded me.

"Mom listen it's complicated". She shook her head and walked back to the living room.

"What's so complicated about it? Who is she? And when are you going to introduce her to us your family?".

"It's complicated because she wasn't suppose to get pregnant. It was a one time thing. And trust me she's not ready to meet you guys yet".

"I have a son who has one night stands while he's in a committed relationship. Wonderful" she sarcastically said.

"Mom your being ridiculous" rolling my eyes. She was so damn dramatic for no reason.

"I'm being ridiculous because I want to meet this woman who has my son wrapped around her finger". My sister walked in "so hows Gia?".

"Gia? Is that her name?" My mom asked.

My sister nodded "she's a nice girl. A little crazy but she's nice".

"Wait? How old is she? And so help me god if she's under 18".

"Mom Gia is 24. Relax" shaking my head at her dramatic attitude.

"Relax? Delano you are going to be 30 this year. And you got a girl who's 24 pregnant? Are you crazy?. Weren't you happy with your ex girlfriend?".

"Why did I come here? To get bashed about my choice in woman?".

"You can't call her a woman. She's a girl. Whose about to give me a grandchild!". I was done with this visit this is why I don't come here often. Don't need this bullshit.

"I can't do this today. I'm leaving!" Walking quickly to the door my sister stopped me.

"Don't go, please! You know how mom is. She's like that with both of us" she joked.

"She's too much sometimes. She doesn't even know how and she's already judging her".

"I'll take care of mom. Did you guys find out what you're having yet?" She asked with excitement.

"Nope not yet. I honestly don't think Gia wants to know until it comes out". Which is true... actually anything baby related she doesn't mention much about.

"Well next time you go tell the doctor to just tell you and you can tell me" my sister joked again.

"Yeah okay. Anyway let me get out of here" hugging my sister before leaving.

Pulling up the baby store that I was in a few days ago. I walked in looking for that same woman who offered to assist us that day.

Walking over to the strollers I see the one Gia wanted. Smiling at the thought of her seeing that I bought it anyway.

"Excuse me sir, do you need help?" A woman asked. Recognizing the voice I turned to see the same woman standing there.

"Yes I want this stroller" she nodded "you're lucky some black girl came to purchase it. But she didn't have enough money to get it".

"Really? Hmm... was she dark skinned. Her hair must've been up in a bun. And was she wearing a tie dye shirt and shorts?" I asked.

"Yes, she was. Did you see her pathetically staring at the stroller too?" She smirked.

"She wasn't looking pathetically at the stroller. She wanted to buy it. But you decided to belittle her before she could tell you she wanted it. How does someone like you have a job here?".

"Excuse me! I didn't belittle anyone. I was just calling it as I see it".

"That girl that you belittled is my pregnant girlfriend. You ruined her shopping experience. She doesn't even want to go baby shopping at all. Thanks to you!".

"Eww, she's your girlfriend?!. You couldn't find someone better than that?" She asked.

"You listen here. You dumb bitch! I don't curse often but your stupidity is bringing it out. That person you saw is the most beautiful amazing caring sweet girl I ever met in my life. And now she's about to bless me with a baby. So maybe if you actually had a man you wouldn't be so bitter. But what man would want you anyway? I sure wouldn't give you a double take if I walked past you. The ignorance radiating off of you is disgusting!. It's like a repellent. Now if you could take this stroller and bring it up to the cashier so I could surprise my girlfriend with it and maybe bring up her excitement of going baby shopping".

The woman didn't say anything else. She did what I asked and she stormed off. I hate being a rude person but she asked for it. She'll think twice before judging someone else.

At the cashier the man rang up the stroller and put a bow on it. I nodded and went on my way. I couldn't wait for Gia to see it.
