DELANO POV

"I'm telling Mom and dad I saw you both kissing!" Gia's brother ran off back to the table. Great now I have to pretend nothing happened.

"Great now are we going to explain this?. Because once he tells them it's over" Gia stood there with her arms still crossed over her chest.

"Don't worry I got this" we both walked back to the table with Gia's dad mugging me.

"Is it true what Rashad told us about you two?" My dad looked at both of us. I was about to explain but Gia beat me to it.

"Yup dad Rashad was right. Delano is my baby's father". Looking at her stunned that she just flat out told her parents and wasn't bothered at all.

"Well..." my mom said while looking awkward.

"Umm... yes Gia is correct but we are in this together. I just asked her to move in with me before we kissed" I confessed.

Her father took a sip of his water and looked at me and then Gia. Gia didn't look bothered at all she was twirling her hair in the process.

"I like that idea. Plus, I don't trust Gia at all. It would be best if you moved in with Delano" her father nodded.

"No" Gia challenges her fathers opinion. "I'm fine where I am for now".

"Gia listen to your father he knows best" her mother chimed in.

"No he doesn't. I'm the one pregnant here. So if I feel I'm okay where I am then I'm not moving and neither of you can make me".

"Delano gia as always been a pain in my ass from ever since. She's very stubborn and doesn't listen".

"Touché dad, Touché" she joked

"Don't worry sir I can handle Gia in many ways than one" her brother mugged me after I made that comment. It wasn't my intent to make that a sexual comment but it came out that way.

After that awkward lunch I walked Gia outside making sure she was okay. "I'm surprised you came out and told him".

She laughed "my dad isn't as scary as he seems and plus I couldn't make my brother have the upper hand on telling".

"I guess I'll see you tomorrow for the doctors visit" she nodded. I gave her a quick hug and let her go.

At the doctors we sat in the room waiting for the doctor to walk in. Gia laid on the bed with her eyes closed.

"Hello, hello I'm Dr. Graham" I nodded and he looked at Gia who was still with her eyes closed. "Is she sleeping?".

"No I don't think so. Gia wake up!" I yelled she opened her eyes "I wasn't sleeping".

"Okay well I see you are here because you found you are pregnant?" He asked.

"You got it doc" Gia sarcastically answered.

"This pregnancy will be fun you, sir" the doctor joked. "Gia I need you to go pee for me and I'll do a test myself to confirm".

Gia hopped off the table and walked into the bathroom to pee.

"Is she always this delightful?" The doctor asked me.

"Not always I guess hormones" I lied.

"Ah, yes... makes sense" Gia came out and handed him the cup and jumped up back on the table. "Alrighty let's see if you are actually pregnant" he took some pee and squeezed some on the test.

"Well..." Gia said.

"You are pregnant, congrats" the doctor answered. "First child for the both of you?".

"First time, and first child... crazy right?" Gia mumbled.

"First time and you get pregnant that sucks!" The doctor pouted at Gia. "But the good news is I can tell you when you're due... and it'll be December 18th".

"Ooo Christmas present" Gia joked.

"See there goes the spirit... well don't forget when you leave to go up the front and get your prenatal pills. And make an appointment too".

Gia nodded and he walked out. I couldn't help but smile. "Why are you so happy?".

"Because we are having a Christmas baby and Christmas is my favorite time of year".

"At least you're getting everything you want" Gia hopped off the table and walked out. She's been in a funky mood all day.

We walked out the office together. I grabbed her arm "what's wrong?" I asked.

She shrugged "everything".

"Like?" I needed details.

"Well for one my parents are annoying me about you. And then well normal pregnant shit. Clothes don't fit as they used to. And etc".

"Oh... well just chill out if anything we can get you some clothes that'll fit. And I'll even make a bigger work shirt for you too".

"Why are you being so nice?" She asked.

"Because I'm trying to make you as comfortable as I can. I know being pregnant isn't easy. And I'm just a nice guy".

She smirked "thank you".

"You hungry? I asked knowing she's always hungry now.

She nodded "of course".

"Well what about we go to Golden Corral my treat and you can eat to your hearts content".

"You don't have tell me twice let's go" she pulled my arm and we walked quickly out the door to the car.
