GiA POV

After my eventful night I was finally home. Opening the door I see Delano sitting on the couch. "Hey How was the meeting?. Wait you're back early" he said.

Plopping down in the couch looking all stressed out. "It was going good until noah showed up". He raised his brow "Excuse me?".

"Yeah he showed up and literally harassed me. I don't even know why he was there to begin with. Then I went to the bathroom and I guess he followed me. Waiting for me to come out. And when I did he pushed me against the wall and grabbed my face just talking craziness".

Delano sat up and didn't say anything. "He's crazy" I said. He just sat there in his own little world. "Earth to Delano did you hear anything I just said?".

He nodded "I heard everything. What did he say to you?".

"The usual why am I ignoring him? And how I shouldn't be with you. And about this date he keeps speaking of" I said. He turned to me "Can I ask you something?".

"What?" I asked.

He rubbed his hand over his face "I know we spoke about this before and you claimed you didn't. But I know he can't keep going about this date if it didn't happen. Did you ever go on a date with Noah? If you did I won't get mad. I just want to hear the truth".

Biting my lip... I went into a short daze...

Months Before...

I was busy finishing up my homework. Ryan was with his dad this weekend. Not that I mind anyway. I wouldn't keep Ryan from him. Bria had stopped by to bring over some stuff for Ryan before.  Checking over the work and smiling. It felt good to finally be doing something for myself.

A knock at the door interrupted me. I got up and walked to the door opening it. Noah stood there smiling with a bouquet of flowers in his hand. "These are for you, beautiful".

"Why did you bring me flowers?" I asked. I never gave this man an inkling of any interest. "Because a beautiful woman like yourself deserves flowers" he said.

"What are you doing tonight?" He asked.

"Nothing really important. Just staying in tonight" I said. He nodded "mind if I come in?". You know that angel and devil who is on your shoulder. Well apparently the angel was on a long break. "Sure". He walked past me and stood up not knowing what to do. "You can sit down you know" I said. He nervously smiled "yeah I know".

Sending in my paper and closing the laptop. I turned on the television and sat not too close to him. "Hungry?". He nodded "I am thanks".

"How does Chinese sound?" I asked.

"That sounds great" he smiled.

After calling in the food I went to sit back down. I didn't see anything wrong with him being here. It's not like I'm leading this man on by any means. "Nice place you got here".

"Thanks" I smiled. He stretched his arm over to my shoulder. "Yeah we are not doing that. You know better" I said.

"I know you are technically single. And I know I'm interested" he joked.

"But I'm not single at all. And you know that. We are just friends here chilling out. Nothing more" I said. He frowned a little "I understand".

When the food got there we ate and just talked some more. I was getting a little tired. "No offense I'm getting sleepy so I'm calling it a night. But thanks for hanging out with me".

He smiled "yeah I enjoyed myself. It was a nice date".

"Date? No it wasn't a date. I don't want you getting confused. We were just hanging out" I said.

"Right... you're right" he said. He opened the door and left.

present time...

"We never went on a date. Maybe we hung out together but that's it. And I stated to him that it wasn't anything serious. It was just two people hanging out together" Delano lies when he said he wouldn't get mad. He slammed his hand on the table "Gia didn't I tell you do not have this man in your place and you do it anyway. You never listen".

"So you're going to blame me? It's not my fault. He took the hanging out the wrong way. Something is mentally wrong with him" I said.

"You basically led him on without even knowing it. And now he's hooked on you" he said. I can't believe he's blaming this on me. "If you want to be technical this is all your fault. If you didn't entertain that thotty business partner none of this would've happened".

"Here goes the Gia who can't take fault for when she fucked up. You fucked up big time!. You never listen and this is why you end up in situations".

"Just like — you know what I'm not going to even say it. Not going to go there" I said.

Delano eyed me "can't believe you. After I asked you numerous times and you stood there and lied to my face".

"What did I lie about? It wasn't a fucking date! I never considered having this man in my apartment and eating food as a date. So I didn't lie about anything. Amazing I tried to do the right thing and tell you about what happened tonight and it's all blame Gia for it".

He fanned me away and went upstairs. Rolling my eyes I knew this was going to happen. But it wasn't a date.
