GIA POV

I decided to go meet up with my dad before I left. Delano was against it but I talked him into letting me go. The house was silent. Which was weird. I heard something upstairs so I went up to where the noise was.

"Hello?" I said. The noise was coming from rashad's room. Opening the door I jumped back when I saw rashad in the spread eagle and his boo was giving it to him. "Oh my god!". I slammed the door shut and covered my eyes.

Moments later rashad came out in his boxers "damn Gia you can't knock!".

"Excuse me? I feel like I want to throw up and you have the nerve to tell me to knock" I said.

"You'll be alright. What's up?" He asked.

"Have you heard anything about mom?. Last thing I heard she had a stroke and died in the hospital" I said. Rashad raised his brow "who told you that?".

"Someone called my phone and told me this. Assuming it was the hospital. The person sounded professional".

"Mom didn't die. But the only thing is... she escaped from the hospital and no one can find her. We tried but to no avail".

"That bitch!" I said. Rashad boo came out the rook smiling "glorious day isn't it?". I nod looking at rashad. He jumped when his boo smacked his butt. Shaking my head at these two. "Is mom okay with this?".

"Hell no! She threw a bible at me in the hospital. Luckily I ducked". Figured she would be so dam dramatic about the situation. "So not even dad knows where she could be?".

"Nope, he somewhat gave up on the search. He thinks she doesn't want to be with him anymore" he said.

"Good riddance on his behalf. He'll be better off" I said. Rashad laughed "anyway sis... we have to get going".

"Oh okay after sex food date. I understand" I winked at him. He scrunched up his face "don't ever do that again. I don't want to even vision you and Delano doing anything sexual".

"At least you get a vision. I got the real deal" I said. His boo came back "oh I meant to tell you. I love your hair. What do shampoo do you use? Cause girl my locks are looking trashy as fuck".

"I use Shea moisture. It's the only product I use. Shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner everything". He smiled "I knew it! Okay good sha-sha we need to stop at target" he yelled.

When I got back home Delano was loading the boxes in his car "how did everything go?".

"Well I caught my brother having sex... which I swear I was blind for a good five minutes. But he told me some interesting news". Delano stopped what he was doing and stood in front of me "like what?".

"I explained to him about mom and he said she escaped from the hospital that night. And no one knows where she is. So who the hell called me telling me this bullshit?".

"Yeah, let's go now! Get in the car. Ryan is already in his car seat. Everything is packed. So let's go!" Delano got into the car and so did I. "I'm not taking any chances with you and that crazy nut".

"My thing is. If she didn't die why did lee come up to me saying he heard about my mom.. something isn't right". Delano glances at me "Gia I'm sorry you have to constantly go through this bullshit".

"Why are you apologizing? All of this isn't your fault. You just got pulled into the mix of this".

"Yeah but you seem to never catch a break. Maybe once we settle in and christen the house you'll be able to relax and not worry about anything".

I didn't say anything. My mind was focused on what was going on. Who called me lying to me about my mom?. And how the hell does lee even know what's going on?. And why is everyone so nonchalant with this woman on the run?.

No one really knows I'm moving but Bria. But she doesn't know the exact city I'm moving too. I'll call her once I get there to tell her all of this new information. I don't know why my mom can't leave me alone. She has to constantly cause me problems. Instead of worrying about her son.

Looking at the back seat and seeing Ryan sleeping. Smiling to myself cause I always say he was my try again. He's the one person I'll always protect from evil people like my mom.

About many hours later we pulled up to our new living situation. Feeling like someone was watching me made me a little jumpy. Delano came and wrapping his arm around my shoulder. "We are far away from her. You're safe here".

"Yeah you're right" I smiled.

"Come in let's get inside and put Ryan to bed. And then we can christen this house. That should distract you for a while" he smirked.

Hearing a twig break made me jump. I turned around just looking around. Maybe my mind is getting the best of me. Shaking it off I went on inside and making sure the door was locked and the windows was locked. Even putting on the security system. This damn woman got me acting like a nut job myself.
