GIA POV

Waking up I noticed I wasn't in my bed. Feeling a little confused I looked over and seen Ryan sleeping in the bassinet next to me. That's when I felt small kissed along my shoulder "morning, how are you feeling?" Delano said.

I cleared my throat "I'm feeling a little better. But I didn't realize I slept over". Moving to sit up but noticed I was butt naked. Covering myself with the covers I had to get my mind right.

"Yeah after we did what we did. You wanted to leave but it was getting late and I convinced you to stay over" he said.

I nodded.

"I can honestly say I miss this. Waking up to you every morning. It was nice" he said.

"If you're insinuating that I move back in... I guess" he smiled big "really?". I nodded "yeah... I was trying to be strong but I have too much on my plate right now".

"Listen don't worry about your parents. I'll take care of that. Just relax and take care of Ryan and yourself. This house is filled up with baby stuff so you don't have to go out and get anything".

"You would..." I said.

"Always prepared baby. You know that" he joked.

"I still need my things from Bria's apartment. So I will have to drive her car back and go and get my stuff".

"Okay... but I don't want you stressing out. I'm happy that we worked things out again".

"Yeah... even though I don't fully trust you. But I mean it's a start" I said. He got out to the bed naked and walked to the bathroom. He would take advantage of me while I was vulnerable. Opportunist at its best.

I drove Bria's car back to her complex and walked inside. "Bitch where have you been?! Had me all worried and shit!".

"Oh I went by to drop Ryan off at Delano's and well things got weird from there. All I know I was crying and I was inside his house. And next thing I know I was inside his bed. And he was inside me".

Bria hysterically laughed "the way you just described that killed me. But are you and Delano back together then".

"I guess" she jumped up and down "about time. Where's Ryan?".

"Delano wanted to spend some one on one time with him so I let him". She nodded "Aww that's so cute. So my dad is stopping over if you want to stay and say hello". I nodded "yeah I have to pack up my stuff anyway so I'll be here". Walking to the back I stepped into my room and looked around to the stuff I have to pack.

Thirty minutes later I hear Bria yell for me. I got up and walked over the stuff on the floor. "Dad you remember Gia!".

He smiled big "how can I forget?. Gia!!! Give me a hug. Come on". I hugged him "nice to see you again".

Bria's dad was so nice. He was this big tall guy who could be scary looking but he was a sweetheart. I always teased Bria that she definitely took after her mom cause her dad was dark skinned.

"So what are you girls getting into today?" He asked taking a seat on the couch.

"Well Gia is moving back with her boo so she's packing up as we speak. And myself I have work in an hour" her dad nodded "remember work is important".

Bria rolled her eyes "I know dad". I smiled "so how have you been?".

"I can't complain. Life is life right?" He asked.

"True" just standing there I'm just looking at him.

"So how's the baby?" He asked.

"He's good, I'm sorry he's not here. His dad wanted to spend time with him".

"That's good Gia. The boy will need his father. Especially when he gets older. How's your mother?" He's never asked me about my mom so I was taken back.

"Umm I guess fine...". He got me looking confused.

"Dad can we not speak of Gia's mom?" Bria said.

"I'm just saying I knew her mom for a long time. Ever since we were in our twenties. She was a good friend of mine. But out of nowhere she just stopped talking to me. I thought I did something but I let it go and moved on".

I titled my head cause I had thought forming... "how come you never told me this before?".

He shrugged "just thought of it now. You know how it is being in your twenties and crazy".

Bria raised her brow "what are you saying?".

"Oh nothing just rambling on. Anyway let me get out of here. I have to stop by the office to pick up some papers" he stood up and hugged both of us. "See you girls later!" He smiled and walked out.

"That was weird! And I mean weird" I said.

"I know right! Anyway I'll miss you! And Ryan. Who am I going to bother now?" She asked.

"I'm only twenty minutes away. I'm not that far. You can always come over or we come over here to spend a night".

"True". She hugged me. "We're more like sisters than best friends". I smiled "very true. So you'll be Ryan's auntie and godmother".

Bria smiled "pretty much. Oh I can't wait to see him. He'll probably be big by the next time I visit him".

"He's a growing boy. But thank you for shacking me up and understanding me. And being a wonderful god mommy/auntie to Ryan" I hugged her tight and pulled apart and walked out the door.

"I'll be at your place maybe tomorrow" she yelled. I laughed "I know!".
