GIA POV

I didn't want to keep talking to Delano. He wasn't showing any emotion at all. Sitting in the room and I couldn't cry anymore. I just don't understand why we can't just take a break. Why must be force us back together so soon?.

Needing to talk to someone who knew Delano. I dialed Bria's number...

"Where the hell are you? I went by your place and no one is there" she said.

"Delano basically tricked me and now we are in the boondocks trying to fix things" I said.

"Ohhh... so how is that going?" She asked.

"Well I confessed to him about the abortion and that didn't go well at all.."

"No you didn't tell him! Are you crazy?!" She asked.

"I did. He wanted us to start on a clean slate so I told him. But after that he got a psychologist over the computer to FaceTime us and tell us what the problem is. Then the idiot decides to tell me I'm a narcissist!. How?".

"A narcissist? Umm no you are far from that. Now if she said that about Delano then I would agree".

"I tried telling them both how controlling Delano is. But my voice went unheard". At least Bria knows I'm not lying.

"Yeah... I mean I've seen some of your fights with him. He's a little you know.." she said.

"Now if I tell him this he'll flip it around and say how I'm the reason why or he'll justify it. I'm not crazy he is. And no one seems to believe me" I said.

"Remember that day when he flipped out because he caught you talking to this guy who was just selling necklaces... good times" she sarcastically said.

Way back...

"Ryan is getting so big. How old is he now?" Bria asked.

"He'll be two in a week" I said.

"Wow, big man he is" Bria cooed. Ryan was the best thing that's happened to me. The one thing that doesn't judge me and will still love me no matter what happens.

"So are we going to this Apple picking thing?" Bria asked holding Ryan. I nodded "yeah let me just tell Delano so he doesn't get all worried". I walked out the room and went to the kitchen to see him there on his iPad.

"Bria and I are going to Apple picking with Ryan" I said quickly. He glanced at me "what time will you be back?".

Shrugging my shoulders "I don't know. Why?".

"Because I want to know when you'll be back" he said.

"I don't know Delano. I'm not going to give you a time and then I'm not here. So.." he sighed "fine, have fun". Shaking my head I walked out the kitchen and saw Bria by the door. Rolling my eyes at her she already knew why.

In the car, I expressed to Bria how much Delano has changed. And I don't know why. Or how this behavior was triggered. "Maybe he's having a tough time at work and is just taking it out on you".

"Yeah okay... anyway let us enjoy this beautiful day today" I said.

Apple picking was so much fun. Ryan was enjoying himself while eating a apple he picked. Bria and I walked over to the picnic tables so we could eat. A man was walking around omg necklaces and bracelets. Now I don't give these people any type of contact cause they will think your interested in buying. But this man came over to our table and started trying to sell his products to us.

He insisted I try on a necklace he had. Helping me put it on I felt someone tug. Bria's face went from happy to wide eyed and mouth open. I turned around quickly to see Delano yanking the man up. I got up and tried to break them up. "What the hell are you doing?!" I yelled.

Delano didn't say anything. Wait? Why was he here?. Bria stood up holding Ryan close. "Why are you here?!" I yelled.

"I leave you to go out alone and come see a man touching you" he yelled grabbing me to him. Shoving him so he would let me go. People stopped and watched us going back and forth. The humiliation I felt at that moment was real.

"Are you insane?! He was selling necklaces!" I yelled. "What the fuck is wrong with you?!". He didn't say anything he just walked off and disappeared. Turning around i look at Bria who was looking at me like what the hell was that about.

Present...

"That day was crazy. We had to leave because apparently Delano's actions was hurting business for them" I said.

"I mean I don't get why he switched his behavior with you unless he was masking himself all this time and now his true colors are finally showing" she said.

Feeling drained I was done talking about Delano we continued to talk about other stuff until she had to get off the phone. I don't understand why no one is believing me about him. He makes it seem it's me but it's really him. The real reason I had that abortion is because Delano and I wasn't in a good place and I wasn't about to bring another baby in that drama.

I'll wait to leave this room. I know he's out there waiting for me. Maybe I'll take a nap and let my mind rest a little.
