GIA POV

Ever since that night Delano has been distant. Not really minding it all too much. I rather give him his space than to annoy him about it. Bria never went home thank god. She talked him into letting her stay her full trip.

"Damn... I know you pregnant and all but I see you" Bria said.

"It's hot. I can't be in clothes today. So it's a sports bra and sweats day today" I said.

"Where's your boo?" She asked.

Shrugging my shoulders "I'm guessing he's at work. I have no idea. He hasn't really talked to me since that night".

"Oh damn for real? He must still be upset about what happened" she said.

"I have no clue cause he's not talking to me... so" I said. Trying to figure out what we should do today. Last thing I wanted was to stay in the house again. Ryan came running into the kitchen "mommy can we go to the jumping place?".

"Umm... yeah we can go" he jumped up and down smiling. That's what makes my day to see him smile is priceless. "Do you know where daddy went?".

"He went to work. But he said he'll be home by twelve". Crazy how our son knows more than me right now.

"Oh okay" Ryan left the kitchen to go get his sneakers. "So I guess we go to the trampoline place". Bria nodded "hows the car running?".

"You know I got that fixed right away" waiting for Ryan to come back downstairs so we can get going. Hearing someone pulling up in front I peek out the window and see Delano and some mystery woman. Now normally I wouldn't even care about this but I'm curious. "Bria come here" she got up and came to me and looked out the window "ooo who is that?".

"I don't know" I said. Hearing Ryan speeding his way down the stairs I turned around "ready?". He opened the door...

DELANO POV

"Yeah this is it" I said. She got out and stood there looking around "wow you own all of this land?".

I nodded "yup, one of my great investments. Because if I wanted I could build a house there and rent it out". She smiled "smart man. I'm happy Brian was right when he said you would know everything about real estate".

"One of my many list of trades on my resume" I joked. She laughed and gently pushed my shoulder "and you're funny too".

Hearing the front door open and yelling I turned to see Ryan running out to the car. Gia and Bria both came out after him. Clearing my throat "and where are you guys going?".

Ryan yelled "jumping place".

"I see you have company" Gia said.

"Oh, this is Ava. Her company is interested in buying some property" I said. Ava came walking over "nice to meet you all".

"Ava this is my girlfriend Gia, and her sister Bria and my son Ryan but he's in the car" I said. She wide eyed quickly but smiled shaking their hand. "Well... I guess we should get back to the office". I nodded "yeah let's go".

Letting Ava walk ahead of me I stopped and turned to Gia "behave". She rolled her eyes "for someone who wasn't speaking to me your saying a lot". I wanted to respond to that comment but I'll save that for later. Her car sped off into the distance.

Ava looked like she was thinking about something. I continued to drive us back to the office. "Delano I don't want you to take this the wrong way... but wow I didn't know you was into the mix".

"The mix? You mean African American women?" I asked.

"Well yes, you look like someone who would be with someone of your own race. You know a blonde" she said.

"I once was. But then I met gia and it was over from there". She nodded "I guess... and the child is both of yours?".

"Yeah, Ryan is our son. And she's pregnant again as we speak. So I'll soon have one more" I said.

"And what does Gia do as a career if you don't mind me asking?".

"She's a mom. She doesn't need to work. Actually I don't want her working. She did work for me when we lived in Arizona".

"That's one smart girl. She basically bagged you into taking care of her. She's set for life. And on top of that she's given you children too. She's good" Ava said.

"Excuse me?" I asked.

"Don't get me wrong. But I think gia knew what she was doing. Otherwise where would she be now?".

This woman has no idea what she's talking about. She doesn't even know where we been to get here. "She would still be working for me. And I would still be in Arizona".

"All I'm sayin is open your eyes up a little bit. You could always do better. Be with someone who can build you up. Be a power couple". When we reached the office I was happy to let her go. She was getting on my nerves. "Well thank you Delano and please think about what I said. And here's my number just Incase you come to your senses".

I didn't say anything. I just let her walk inside before I did. Pulling out my phone and getting the GPS tracker on Gia's phone I wanted to make sure they were at the trampoline place. When I saw the location I put my phone away.
