I was a little surprised at what the therapist suggested. Now was I going to do it? Of course not. Do you think I'm that crazy to allow Gia to separate from me again?. No!. Next thing I know someone tries to come after her. If anything I have a plan and it should work.
When we got home gia seemed a little normal. She wasn't upset at all. "Can we talk?" I asked. She turned to me "Okay?".
"Despite what the therapist said I'm not giving you the space you think nor want. But in the meantime I came up with a plan". She rolled her eyes and shook her head "Can never follow what they tell you to do?".
"I'm not that crazy. Anyway... I'll give you two options and you let me know which one you rather do" I said.
She nodded "okay..."
"First option... I'll give you space in this house. Meaning you take one part and I'll take the other part. We stay out of each other's way. Obviously when it comes to Ryan nothing changes with that".
"Go on" she said.
"Second option is we all go on a vacation but I'll also give you space there as well. I'll rent us a big enough house where we don't have to bump into each other so often".
"Hmm... second one does sound nice but I doubt I'll be able to fly. I don't think they allow a women who's nine months pregnant to board an airplane" she said.
"Don't worry about that. I can get you on the plane with no problem" I said.
"Hmm... I'm not sure if that's a good idea. Wouldn't want to have this baby on an airplane" she said.
"Well figure it out and we can work from there. But I'm sorry I just can't give you space". I walked away leaving her there to think about what I offered her. Ryan was in the back running around and being a kid. I went in the yard to join him and also give Gia some time to think.
"Daddy look at me" Ryan yelled as he did a flip. I smiled and clapped. Moments later Gia came out with her arms crossed over her chest. She leaned against the door frame "so I thought about it..."
"And?" I asked.
"I rather have my space. If we go on vacation it'll only leave to us fighting. And that's what we are not trying to do anymore" she said.
"Already told you I can't do that... again. Despite what the therapist said. I can't see myself being away from you" I said.
"So you rather us be unhappy?" She asked.
"Who said I was unhappy? I didn't tell you that. Are you unhappy?" She looked at me with nothing said.
"Wow. Didn't know it was this bad" rubbing my hand over my face. "It wasn't a secret. Actually if being honest works. Ever since you cheated on me I have this sense of fear that you'll do it again. That's how I felt when I saw you with Ava".
I didn't say anything. If this was the way gia wanted to open up... then let her.
"Delano, you are all I know. Basically my first everything. Our relationship moved very fast. So fast I never had the time to sit and think about us".
Again I stayed quiet but my focus was on her.
"Now look at us. Fighting and being mean to each other. And now we have two kids in the mix of that. I don't want Ryan realizing his parents aren't happy with each other".
Eyeing where Ryan was making sure he wasn't too close hearing Gia speak.
"Delano are you even listening to me?" She asked.
"Yeah I'm listening. But at the same time I'm booking all us tickets to go to Barbados. Figuring it'll be a good spot for us to relax and talk better" I said.
Gia sighed "you wasn't listening to anything I was saying, Delano!. This is the problem! You never listen to anything I say".
"I was listening. But I already gave you two options. You decided to choose none of them. So I made the final decision for the both of us".
"As always. I see the leopard doesn't change its spots. Still controlling" she said.
"Say what you want. By this time tomorrow we will be on an island relaxing" I said.
"Good for you. Cause I'm not going!" Gia yelled.
"Yeah okay, try me!" I said. She flipped me off and stormed inside. She's going even if I have to pick her up and carry her I will.
The next morning, Ryan was waiting for us to get our things together so we could get going. He was very excited for this trip. "Hurry up!" He yelled.
"Hold on buddy. I have to see if mommy is ready" I said. Opening the door I see our bed was made nearly but Gia was nowhere to be found. "Gia?" I yelled.
Walking into our bathroom and still nothing. Where the hell did she go?. "Gia? Enough with the games!".
Still nothing. She can't hide from me. Thinking about all the spaces in this house. Until one small crawl space I forgot to check. Opening the door I saw her crying. "You can come out".
"Just leave me alone!" She said.
"Come on gia, come out" I said. She crawled out and continued to cry. "What's wrong?".
"Like you care to know" she sniffled wiping her fallen tears. "Obviously I do if I'm asking" I said. She got up and walked out. Following her downstairs "everyone ready?".
Ryan jumped "Yes!".
Looking at Gia she was looking at the floor. She was acting like a pouty child right now. Usually when she acts like that I don't usually pay her any mind. Packing up everyone in the car we were on our way to the airport. Gia didn't look at me once. Her gaze was on the outside scenery. I'll focus on her when we reach our destination.
Serious question::: who's all for Gia and Delano to stay together and who's for them to separate?
