DELANO POV

Work has been crazy since I had to fire two people. So now my other workers had to work much harder since we were short staffed. Standing outside my office and watching the waves I saw Gia and Bria doing nothing as usual but playing around.

"Girls? Come on" Bria smiled and pretended to work. Meanwhile Gia rolled her eyes at me.

"Gia at least so some work today, please?" I asked nicely.

"Can you leave me alone? Thanks" she walked away from me. I'm going to blame the attitude on her hormones.

Running after her I pulled her to stop walking. "Did I do something that you hate me so much?".

"Hmm let me think... you ruined my life how about we start with that".

"It's not like I purposely got you pregnant. It was a honest mistake that neither of us can take back".

"Correction if you had let me go through with the abortion it would all be fixed and forgotten" she crossed her arms over her chest.

All I could do is stare at her. Her beauty was out of this world. I don't even think she knows how pretty she really is.

"What?!" She asked.

"I'm just staring at a very pretty girl. And I'm lucky that in a way you're having my baby".

"Whatever, Can I get back to work?". She looked away as the wind blew her hair in her face. I nodded which she started walking away at a fast pace.

GIA POV

After work I decided to go see my parents. Last thing they needed to know is I was pregnant. It would confirm all there fears about me.

"Hello?" I yelled walking inside. My brother came from behind me and tapped my head "don't touch my hair thank you".

"Not like I want to big head" he joked.

"Whatever where is Mom and dad?" I asked following him into the living room.

"They went out. Why?" He took a seat on the couch. I sat right next to him putting my feet up.

"Damn really I came to see them". He turned to me with a questionable look. "What?!".

"You came here for some free food. Don't act like you came here to see Mom or dad".

"You know I should've held your big head under the water just a little longer when we were small. I would be the golden child instead of you".

"Yeah right!. They used to pray for you every night but then Mom said obviously your immune to prayers".

"No she didn't say that". I threw the pillow at him for lying.

"Dead serious. When you see her ask her" he smirked.

My phone cut me off from having a comeback. Rolling my eyes at the name. I chose not to answer it.

"Who's that calling you?" My brother asked.

"Nosey much? Nobody" I lied.

"It's probably you're boyfriend. I'm telling Mom and dad on you" he joked.

"Well sorry to burst your dream bubble but no boyfriend. I don't do relationships too much stress".

"I don't think any man could ever handle you anyway. You have a smart mouth and you don't have a filter".

"True. But anyway let me go I'm getting hungry" I mushed my brother head and ran out the door before he could get me.

When I got home after eating mostly everything at Taco Bell my phone rang again. The name once again was there. I really didn't want to talk to him. Sighing really loud I pressed the green button.

"What?!".

"Are you Okay?" He asked.

"Why wouldn't I be?" I replied.

"Oh because I called you before and you didn't answer".

"I was busy".

"Busy doing what?" He asked.

"Is this conversation going anywhere. I had a long day today and I'm tired".

"You didn't do what I think you did.."

"No! Now you can sleep tonight. And honestly I even forgot I was pregnant today until you always bring it up".

"Can't ignore it. You'll be getting bigger soon enough".

"Thanks for reminding me".

"Umm... Gia I wanted to ask you maybe we can go out tomorrow and just hang out".

"I don't know...".

"Come on, it'll be fun".

He's not going to stop.

"I guess after work. And don't think it'll be more than us chilling out. You do have a girlfriend".

"I know that. So tomorrow after your shift".

"Yeah anyway I'm going to sleep I'm exhausted especially after eating so many tacos".

"You know what I'll save that conversation for tomorrow. Sweet dreams".

"Don't do that".

"What?".

"That... just hang up".

"Okay...".

The line ended. Rolling my eyes at his sweet dreams remark. Tomorrow needs to take its slow time. Yawning I took a shower and got right into my bed with the AC on blast and closing my eyes.
