After that disaster dinner I went to. It just made me miss Gia even more. I'm not crazy... to miss the one person who drove me crazy. Right?. But I'm here on my way to her condo. She has no idea I'm coming. Usually I let her know I'm stopping by. But I rather surprise Ryan.

It's been exactly two and half months since she left. Our bed has been cold and empty. And the house is still eerily quiet. Too quiet for me. Putting the car in park I got out. Making my way to the second floor. Usually her door is open. Which it was. Slowly opening the door I peek in and see Gia around the small table with her laptop.
"Hey" I said. She jumped and turned around "you scared me!. I didn't even know you was stopping by".
"I wanted to surprise Ryan" I smiled.
"Damn, Bria came by and took him out so I could get my homework done" she said.
"Oh... well I guess I'll come back tomorrow then" I said. I was about to walk out when she stopped me "Delano, Wait".
"Yeah?" I said.
"I know you're very good in math. I need help with this problem" she said.
Walking back to the table she was sitting at. I pulled a seat next to her and looked at the problem "oh this is easy".
"You just literally looked at the problem and you already know it's easy..." she said.
"Math was and will always be easy for me. I don't know why but I like numbers". She smiled "of course you would".
"Well.. this right here you would have to exit this out the equation in order to get your answer. Which I know already but I'm not telling you. You would have to figure it out on your own".
She sighed "this is hard. I hate math". Watching her side profile... all I really wanted to do is kiss her. But I knew better. "Keep whining it's hard you'll never get the answer".
"You sound like a teacher" she joked.
"It's true though... I taught you a lot right?" I asked.
"In what sense? Just asking before I answer the question" she said. I was about to answer her when my phone went off. Looking at the screen I see it's a text from Ava.
Not realizing Gia side eyed to see who I was texting. I moved my phone closer to me so just Incase she couldn't see it before she won't see it at all. "So I see you already moved on... what's her name again Avery?".
"I haven't moved on at all. And her name is Ava" I said.
"Then why does she have your number? and she's texting you too?" Gia shook her head "but I guess it's what you wanted though right?. Now you two can be the power couple. The couple who others see as goals".
"I'm not interested in Ava. The woman I want is right in front of me doing homework" I said. She rolled her eyes "tell that to Ava when she starts sending you pics of herself". She got up and went to the kitchen and got a cup of ice.
"Is this ice thing a craving?" I asked only because it's obvious the way things are going I won't be going through this pregnancy like I was with Ryan.
"I think so. Either that or my iron is very low. But the ice taste so good" she smiled.

GIA POV
Popping another ice cube in my mouth. Let me tell you I could live off of just ice by itself. That's how good it taste. "Maybe you should get your iron checked out. I wouldn't want something to be wrong and you not know about it" Delano said.
"True, maybe I'll make an appointment for tomorrow" I said. Delano sat there and just stared at me. He was rubbing his chin as if he was thinking something. Just then the door opened up to Bria and Ryan walking inside. "Gia there's a guy out here saying he knows you. His name is Noah?". Bria looked at Delano and covered her mouth "didn't m is you were here, hey!".
"What guy is she talking about?" Delano stood up.
"No one. He's just an associate. Relax" I said mean mugging Bria. "Ryan go to your room while I talk to daddy okay?".
"Okay!" He ran off to his room leaving the three of us there. Delano looked at me "Gia, I'm giving you this break but do not have any other man around my son".
"Here we go with controlling Delano" she sighed.
"I'm not being controlling I'm just stating that I don't want any other man around my son. Period" he said.
Bria looked at me and mouthed "sorry".
"Have you had this man in this condo?" He asked.
"And if I did is it your business? No! So stop asking Nosey questions" I said.
"Nosey questions? When OUR son is here... I think I'm supposed to know who comes in and out of here" he said.
"Last time I checked this is my place not yours. So now if you please leave... NOW" I pointed to the door. He didn't say anything he stormed out slamming the door shut.
"I didn't know he was here, sorry" Bria said.
"He surprised me too when he showed up" I said. Just when we were getting along... and boom there goes the fighting.
