Delano POV
When I saw Bria pull up with that one guy who Gia went out with before... it set me off. So many thoughts were going through my head. When she got out she eyed me and turned to Bria. She knew what I was thinking.
Once she walked inside I followed I wanted to instantly ask her why that guy was in the car. But I had to beat around the bush and then sneak that in.
"How was the concert?" I asked.
"It was fun" she put her bag on the table and went to the fridge to get something to drink.
"I saw the pics on instagram. You look happy" I said.
"Very! I was very happy!" She said. She got her purse and walked to the back bedroom.
"So why was that guy in the car?" I asked.
She shrugged "it's Bria's car. So if you have anything to ask... call her and ask". That answer just got me upset. As if Gia doesn't have a voice and tell her so called best friend that it's not a good idea to have those guys in the car.
"Did they go with you guys?" I asked. She stopped and turned to me "No Delano! Anymore questions?!". Shaking my head I stormed out of there and left.
Got into my car and just drove around. You can call me possessive or crazy. But I don't trust a lot of people and their intentions. Gia may not see it but I do. That guy I don't like him. Something about him rubs me the wrong way.
About two hours later I got back. Just sitting in my car for a while just thinking. Trying to list the pros and cons of this situation. I may be older than Gia but she should at least not be this naive at her age. Finally getting out of the car I walked back in the house. She was asleep. I slept on the couch for tonight.
When morning hit I took a shower and got dressed. I had to handle my mother today. So I left the house before Gia woke up.
Arriving at my mothers house I walked in. "Delano what are you doing here so early?"she asked.
"I came by because I have a bone to pick with you about Jessica and Gia".
"Okay..." she wanted to act dumb.
"Well I met up with Jessica so she could take an actual pregnancy test and it came back negative. She's been faking this whole time. And she told me you were the one behind it".
"Non sense. That woman has mental problems. She's the one who called me crying about how she wants you back. Now I may suggest an idea but she didn't have to go with it".
Slamming my fist on the table "liar!... let's try this again?. Did you or did you not set Jessica up to fake a pregnancy?".
She nodded "I did. So what?! I rather you be with Jessica than Gia. Gia won't and can't do anything for you. At least Jessica is working and can help you financially. Gia can't do that. And plus look at Gia what will people say when you two are together?".
"You can't be serious and this ignorant. I don't need anyone to help me with money. I have more than enough money. And you know that. And who gives a fuck what anyone has to say about Gia. The only person she needs to worry about is that baby and myself".
My mom sighed "you just don't get it".
"No I get that you're racist! That's the only thing I'm picking up from this conversation. And I should've known better too. It's funny cause Gia knew you would try to do something and I said don't worry about it. You can careless about my happiness! All you care about is money. Well mom guess what I'm Well off when it comes to money. I may not say how much money I have but trust me when I say I can retire now and be fine".
She didn't say anything. She just stood there as if I took a blind fold off her eyes.
"Figuring you wouldn't have anything to say. And I'm going to say this and only this. You are not welcomed to see your grandson when he's born. I don't want someone like yourself polluting negative ignorant thoughts in my sons head. So don't call me or come to the hospital or to my house. You lost all rights of being a grandmother to any of my future children". With that I stormed out of that house feeling ten times lighter.

GIA POV
Going through these baby clothes and making sure things are at least organized. Unlike my life at the moment. Delano still hasn't spoken to me. So at this point I don't know what's going through his mind.
Just then I heard the door open and shut. There he goes he'll ignore me anyway. I heard his footsteps and I saw him leaning on the door frame. Looking up at him.
"So... are you going to speak to me?" I asked.
"Gia, I don't like that guy. I know it's not your car but you do have a voice. Knowing Bria she would've listened to you. That guy just doesn't rub me the right way. I'm a man... I know when another man is interested. I may be possessive of you but it's because I care about you. I won't stand and lie and say I wasn't furious with you".
"Interested? Yeah okay not when I'm seven months pregnant".
"Doesn't matter if your pregnant or not. Men are scumbags".
"Fine, I'm sorry about having lee in the car with all of us. Actually I won't have any more male friends".
"You can have male friends but... not that guy lee". Delano stood firm as he was telling me all of this. "And you were right about my mother she was trying to interfere with our relationship by having my ex fake that her pregnancy".
"No way!!! That's crazy!. I knew it though" I smiled.
"You did and I'm apologizing for not believing you when I should've. But for not believing you I'll take you out for dinner tonight. My treat". I smiled and nodded "okay".
He came over to me and gave me a kiss and walked out. "And make sure you dress causal" he yelled. Casual? Now I have to find something that fits.
