GIA POV

I needed some girl time so I hit up Bria and see if she wanted to hang out. And being six months pregnant there's not much I can do. But she agreed and picked me up.

"My pregnant bitch! I missed you!" She hugged me.

"Haven't seen you in a minute. Where have you been?" I asked.

"You know boy troubles" she said.

"Oh no not Rodney again. I thought you dead him for what he did the last time". She cried over this boy constantly and keeps taking him back. I don't get it.

"I know, I know I'm the dumbass but I can't help it" she whined. "Oh I was thinking we go baby clothes shopping".

Shrugging "I guess so but I'm not going to that same store this time".

"Don't worry I know a cute cheap boutique that you'll love" she smiled.

Once we reached this place we went inside. Bria wasn't lying when she said it was small store. But they had some cute things.

"Do you even know what you're having?" Bria asked.

"Nope, I rather not know until I push it out" looking through the clothes.

"You would make shit difficult. Well I guess get neutral colors". Bria went along the same rack I was on and spotted a few pieces. "Aww, look at this, cute onesies".

Smiling "those are cute! Put those in the basket". We both started just picking out some pieces we saw. As we were in line to check out this woman was ahead of us. I heard this voice before. Looking up and I notice it's his ex girlfriend. Why is she in here?.

"Bria that's his ex!" I whispered. She looked at her and made a face. "Why is she in here?".

Bria shrugged her shoulders "beats me. And she's buying baby clothes. She better know someone who's expecting".

We just watched her check out and walk out. She didn't even notice I was here which I liked. Not thinking anything of it I just went to pay for my things.

DELANO POV

Just sitting here at my desk hoping Gia actually bought something. Or she's just enjoying the day out with Bria. I gave them both the day off so Gia can focus more on this baby.

I didn't expect them to be all day. But knowing those two together anything is possible.

About two hours later Gia walked through the door with two bags. Just seeing her with bags made me smile. At least I know she did buy something for the baby.

"Hey, How was your day?" I asked.

"It was okay. I got some stuff for the baby. And I saw your ex at the exact same store".  Not catching what she just said. "Wait? You saw my ex at the baby store?".

She nodded "yup. And she was buying baby clothes. Let me find out you two have a child that your not telling me about".

"No! No, I don't know why she was in there". Gia raised her brow at me "it's none of my business at the end of the day. But I got some cute things". Walking up to her I took a peek inside the bags and saw she got some neutral colors.

"And can you stop saying it's none of your business. Anything I do is your business whether you like it or not".

"Anyway I'm going to go put these clothes in the laundry so I can wash them first with the baby detergent". She grabbed the bag and walked to the back.

This was a way of Gia closing herself off from being bothered with what is actually going on. Last thing I needed.

My phone started ringing. I see it's my mom calling. What a great end to a odd day. Sarcastically speaking of course.

"Yes" I answered.

"Don't you Yes me. Why didn't you tell me..." she yelled.

"Tell you what?!" I said.

"That your ex was pregnant. How dare you leave her high and dry for that thing you have in your home now. You better step it up and do the right thing, Delano".

"Wait? What are you talking about?" I said.

"She called me crying telling me she just found out she's pregnant. And you are the father! You have the nerve to entertain that black girl but can't step up and be a man to your actual girlfriend".

"Mom, I'm confused. Why would she tell you this and not me?".

"Who knows... all I want is for you to step up and be a man. And stop playing house with this young girl who doesn't even want you".

"Whatever mom let me go" hanging up the call. I stood there in shock. What the hell is going on here?. Wait? Gia did say she saw her in the baby store. But she doesn't tell me she's expecting.

I'm not saying anything to Gia until I speak to my ex and find out what is really going on. Hopefully if this is true... this doesn't change anything towards Gia and I.
