GIA POV

Two weeks later...

"I can't believe  your dad finally got you your own place" I said.

"That's what I'm saying! How long have I been asking him if he could help chop in for my apartment?" She asked.

"A good while now. I wonder what made him give in" I said.

"Oh because I purposely was making his life hell. And he finally said fuck it" she laughed.

We were on on our way to pick up some things from target for her new apartment. You know target has the cute cheap stuff. Walking in I was pushing the cart while she was picking up things.

"So how's Delano?" She asked.

"I guess he's fine. He hasn't been home lately. Work has him very busy". She turned to me "really? Hmm weird".

"What's weird about it?" I asked.

"Nothing it's just he's usually always with you and all of a sudden his job has him out the house? Sounds odd".

Shrugging "I don't know I'm just guessing. You know I don't question his where abouts".

We continued to go down each isle just looking at things to I see if they would look good in her new place.

"So you're officially eight months pregnant! How does it feel?" She asked.

"Like I'm going to explode" I said.

Bria laughed "after this one comes along. Are you going to have anymore kids?".

"Hell no! I didn't even want this one. But I grew to love it though. I'm done after this".

When we turned into the kitchen aisle I saw Delano's sister. She waved at us "Hey girls! What's up?".

"Oh happy belated birthday!" I said.

She nodded "thank you. Why didn't you come to my party?".

"Emmalee you know your momma is crazy. And she doesn't like me".

"True... have you seen my brother?" She asked.

"No, why?" I asked.

"Because usually he calls me once a week and he hasn't. Just worried about him".

"Well he's alive if that's what your asking. But I'm guessing his job has him tied up" she smiled "I guess you're right. Anyway I have to go. Nice seeing you girls".

Bria raised her brow "she hasn't seen her brother either. Something is up".

"Bria he's busy with work. Stop over thinking this". Rolling my eyes I pushed the cart with her following. We turned into the other isle where someone's cart was blocking us from going any further. "Delano
Is never like this though... has he called you?".

Shaking my head "no..."

A woman came to get the cart that was blocking us. She was a medium height, blonde and skinny. She must've of heard us talking cause she stopped to listen.

"Delano is fine okay. Nothing to worry about" I Said.

The woman turned to us... "Excuse me, you know Delano?" She seemed surprised. "Umm.. do we k ow you?" Bria asked.

"I'm sorry I know Delano very well. I'm an old friend of his. Actually I saw him at his sister birthday. That's why I'm asking".

I turned to look at Bria and Bria turned to me "Yeah I'm having his baby".

"Oh you're the woman pregnant for him. Wow! You know just seeing you for the first time. I don't feel bad for what happened".

"What are you talking about?" I asked cause I was confused.

"Listen honey, Delano isn't for you. It would never work. He doesn't love you the way you think he does".

"Bitch watch your mouth. Delano loves her! Who are you to say he doesn't?" Bria said.

"Well I didn't want to be the one to tell you. But we hooked up at his sister birthday party" she smiled.

Turning to Bria I was mentally counting to ten. But it  wasn't doing me any good. The old Gia just came back. Before I knew it I punched this woman in the face. Bria held me back with a smile on her face "Gia oh my gawd... I wasn't expecting that!".

She grabbed me and walked me out of target. "Girl?. You just punched the shit out of that woman!".

I nodded "I know she deserved it. Just like Delano will deserve me leaving him. I'm officially done. Happiness doesn't exist in my world. I'm actually numb to what she said. I feel like I should be more emotional about the situation".

"You will be it hasn't hit you yet. And the best part now you can be my roommate" Bria said.

"Bria I don't want to impose myself and this baby on you". She looked at me "bitch you are living with me. No way out of that".

I smiled "fine, now let's go get my stuff so I can get the hell out of there. He complains about lee but he sleeps with someone else. Amazing!. I can't believe it I got pulled in this to get played for a fool. For that I could've went to see my parents".

"Are you going to at least leave him a note or something?" Bria asked.

"No he doesn't even deserve that. I'm just gone. I don't even want to know him. He played as if he was this sweet caring person and then his true colors come out".

"This is crazy! Delano sleeping with someone else. Wow!".

"It's not crazy. He did what any other male would've done". I was done with Delano. He crossed the line with this. I've never did this to him. With lee he was just a friend. We have never hooked up or kissed. But he sees an old friend and can't help his dick.

Once we got to his house I wanted to make sure he wasn't there. I went inside and started packing my things up. Can't believe I fell for this bullshit!!. Bria was helping me get my things and bringing it to her car. About ten minutes later Delano pulled up. He looked as us as if he didn't understand what was going on.

He jumped out his car "what are you doing?!". I didn't answer him or look at him. I continued to put my stuff in Bria's car. As I walked back inside he grabbed my arm "Gia what is going on?".

"I'm out!" I pulled from his grasp and went to grab another box. He followed me into the room closing the door. "Why are you leaving?".

"Because you played me. You sold me a story and I bought it. And now I'm the one looking like a damn fool!".

"I'm confused... what are you talking about?!".

"You know... with lee I never did anything with him he was just a friend. I respected your wishes and stayed away from him. But YOU... no you just stick your dick into anything. Like maybe a particular girl you fucked at your sister birthday". He stood there with nothing to say. "Yeah I figured you wouldn't say anything. Now move out my way".

He didn't move.

"Listen I'm so sorry Okay. I can't take what happened back but I'm sorry. I had too much to drink and it happened".

"Like how we happened?. It seems to be a pattern with you".

"I love you, Gia! Don't leave please we can work through this" he pleaded.

"You never loved me if you can just sleep with someone else. I been through a lot of shit but this one hurts me the most" feeling the need to cry I quickly turned around to take a deep breath.

"What about Ryan?" He asked.

"When I go into labor then I'll call you... from there we can just co-parent". I heard him sigh. Nothing else was said. I turned around he had moved from the door and sat on the bed with his face in his hands. I walked out closing the door behind me.
