Delano POV

I was on my way to see Ryan. That's one thing I like that Gia doesn't deprive me from seeing my son. She's actually good at this co-parenting thing. Once I pulled up I called her to let her know I was here. She told me to wait outside she'll bring him down. This weather wasn't as bad but it was still a little hot out.

Watching her come down the stairs I couldn't help but stare. Why the hell is she wearing such a short skirt?.

"Hey" she said.

"Hey..." I just stared at her up and down. Damn I almost forgot how good Gia's body was before the baby.

"Eyes up here" she said.

"Yeah... let me see him" she handed me Ryan who was sleeping. He's such a precious baby."How is he?".

"He's good. He doesn't cry as often and he's chill" she said.

Holding my son I just wanted to hold him all day. As a father I craved to be with my son a lot. "Umm even though you'll say no to this. But do you mind if I take you guys out for a family outing?".

She titled her head "I don't know, Delano—" I cut her off "come on please. If anything we'll be gone for about an hour tops". She looked up at Bria's window and saw Bria peeking through the blinds.

"I don't know if I want Ryan out here for that long it's pretty hot. And it'll only get hotter than the time goes by".

She was right.

"Okay how about we just go out for an hour and I'll drop you back here, promise" I said hoping she would agree.

She sighed "only for an hour and that's it!"

I nodded "an hour that's it!". Kissing Ryan I handed him back to Gia. She disappeared back upstairs I guess telling Bria what's going on. She came back down stairs "okay so.."

Already in the car... I started it up waiting for her to get inside.

"Why this old car?" She asked.

"This car isn't that old... and well I love antique cars. You know this already" I teased.

She didn't seemed amused at all. I drove until we were in the mountains. I wanted some alone time with Gia just to see where we are or where we could be.

"Can you put the top down?" She asked. I nodded and started unhooking the top to come off. Once I did that she got on top of the back seat and sat there taking in the sun.

Now I would be lying if I said I didn't feel the need to take her right there but I did. I needed to compose myself.

"So how's mommy's life?" I asked just watching her.

"I love it. Ryan is the reason I can't wait to wake up in the morning to see his beautiful face" she gloated. "It's weird cause I wanted to abort him and now he's here and I can't stop loving him".

"Thats being a mother. I'm proud of you" I said. She smiled "thank you".

"What about work?" I asked.

"I have a newborn I'm not working until he starts school or I can find a trusted baby sitter. And I'm not working for you that's for sure".

"Ouch!. I treated you fairly" I joked.

"Yeah fairly into getting me pregnant... if that's what you mean" she teased.

"Have your parents contacted you to see Ryan?" I asked only because I hope they didn't. This Gia sitting in front of me is the Gia I know.

She shook her head "Nope. I didn't expect them too anyway".

"Can I ask why you are wearing a very short skirt and a top tied up?" I asked. She looked at herself and back at me "because it's fuckin hot here in Arizona. I feel like if I wear actual clothes I'll melt".

"But the skirt is too short Gia! You'll cause yourself negative attention".

"From who? You?" She smiled.

"Maybe" I smirked. Making my way to the back seat I sat next to her. "I miss you gia. I really do". She didn't look at me. "You don't miss me?".

"Delano can we not do this right now?" She asked.

"Do what? Talk?" I said.

"This isn't talking... this is you doing what you always do and try and talk me back to going back to you".

"Because I want you gia. I always did. Yes, I messed up. But I apologized over and over about it. Why can't you forgive me?" I asked.

"Because if I forgive you then I can forgive my parents for being assholes too. I can't forget or forgive so easy. You slept with someone else. After you told me countless times you loved me. But you want me to wipe your slate clean and move back with you and act like nothing was ever wrong? Right?".

I didn't say anything.

"Exactly... is our hour up?" She asked. Looking at my watch I nodded "yup". She got back in the front seat and I got back in the drivers seat. Before starting the car I turned to look at her "I won't and I will not give up on getting back together".

She rolled her eyes and looked the other way. Driving her back to Bria's complex she hopped out the car "see you tomorrow". I nodded and drove off.
