GIA POV
Well as expected the distance continued. At this point it doesn't even bother me. I have Ryan and myself to worry about. He's been working a little more now. How convenient...
Ryan and I was outside in the front just playing around. He was running and just all over the place. Smiling at how happy he was just being outside. An odd car came up driving but slowed down when it reached me. I stepped back cause no one is kidnapping me today.
A tall gentleman came out the car smiling "Excuse me miss...
"Who you calling miss?" I asked "I'm not that old". He sat behind his car smiling "I'm sorry. But I think I'm lost".
"Obviously" I said.
"Would you know how to get back into the nearest highway?" He asked.
"Yeah you made a left when you came off right?" I asked. He nodded "that's what I did".
"Well go back and make a right and then make a U turn and you'll be back on the highway" I said. He smiled even bigger "you are a life saver".
"I don't know about that... but if you say so" he went back in his car and started it. And again... and again. "Dammit... knew this would happen". He slammed his car door shut "looks like I won't be going no time soon".
Remembering my car troubles I started laughing "something funny?" He asked.
"Oh sorry! I was just remembering when my cart broke down a few weeks ago coming back from Portland".
"Portland? You have family out there or something?" He asked.
"Umm no... I just wanted to visit somewhere and Oregon was the closet that I know of" he nodded "a girl who loves adventures. You don't seem to find that around".
I didn't say anything. "Well if you don't mind. If maybe I can wait around for a tow truck to come get this car".
"Where else can you go?" He laughed "true, true. Cute kid. Yours?".
"Yup, Ryan lets go inside" I yelled. He came running over to me "I'm thirsty, mommy".
"Listen it's humid out here. And you have on a sweater for whatever reason. I don't normally invite strangers in my home. But I don't want you to die of heat stroke".
"Thank you so much!. I appreciate it a lot" he said following me to the house. "Nice place".
"Thank you, my boyfriend built it here purposely" I joked.
"Lucky man" he said.
"He's lucky alright... lucky I haven't went off on him for being a crazy person" I said out loud.
"Huh?" He asked.
"Oh nothing just me rambling on... thirsty?" He nodded "yes, I am thank you". Leaving this man in my living room to get him something to drink. Ryan was in the kitchen as well "mommy we aren't suppose to have strangers in here".
"I know but if he stays outside he's going to melt. So at least we can have him in here until the tow truck comes".
"Hope he's not here when daddy comes home" he said. And so what if he is? "Well if he is then he is. Go upstairs and wash your hands".

DELANO POV
Today was rough. All I wanted to do was go home and put my feet up. When I opened the door an unknown man was sitting with Gia laughing. Who and what the fuck is going on?.
Clearing my throat they both stopped and looked at me "and you are? And why are you in my home?".
"Delano Relax, his car broke down out side and he's waiting for a tow truck" Gia said.
"And he couldn't wait outside?" I asked. Not for nothing gia doesn't know this man and she allows him to come into our home?.
"I don't want to start anything between you two I'll just go wait outside" he said getting up. "Noah sit down and chill".
"And you guys are on first name basis already... interesting" I said. Gia huffed "here we go... you are so annoying lately!".
"The feeling is mutual... trust me" I said. Noah just looked at us both and looked down. "Tell me how you really feel, Delano".
"I'm not doing this with you right now" I said. She stood in front of me "no let's do it. Tell me how you really feel!".
Frustrated as I was already and her challenging me it was just a matter of time before I blew up. I was trying to best to ignore her and get this man out of my house. I can care less if he's waiting for a tow truck or not.
Then I had Ava's words in my head as well. All of this stress upon everything else was building up inside me.
Looking at gia with a stupid attitude on her face and I exploded "you really want to know how I feel. Well let's see... I find it highly disrespectful that you don't tell the father of your children where you are going at all times. God forbid something happens I won't know where you are. Then again, why would you give two fucks right? You constantly do stupid shit that blows my mind all the time. You never ever listen to me. I think I'm starting to see what people are saying how you made yourself a charity case and I was the fool that fell for the damsel in distress act".
She didn't say anything she stood there. I wasn't sure if she was going to cry or what. "Wow so that's how you feel. How you saved the black girl from such a hard life. Must feel good to be big man. All the women want you. Like Ava... but again you're so fucking clueless all the time. I thought it was an act but I realized your just that oblivious to what's going on around you".
"My tow truck is here so thank you for everything" Noah said quickly walking out the door.
"Maybe it'll best since you feel that your with someone less fortunate than yourself that we take a break. At least you can try with what's her name Ava" she said. Looking at her and seeing she's hurt but she's masking it. Sighing taking a break was the last thing I needed. "Well..."
"Gia, please just leave me alone. Okay" I said walking past her. "That won't be a problem" she said. I already knew what that meant and I'll be damned.
