DELANO POV
For the first time I feel like she opened up to me. Was she in a vulnerable state? Yes. But maybe she might stop being so stubborn and lighten up. I wanted to take her shopping for the baby. You know I want her to relax and enjoy being pregnant.
"Gia, let's go" I yelled. Standing by the door waiting for her. I get she's pregnant but she takes a long time to get ready.
She came out in a beautiful maxi dress "where are we going?".
"We are going shopping for the baby" she didn't look as excited as I thought she would be.
"Oh ok" she walked out infront of me. Opening her passenger side door and letting her take her time to get in and sit down. Walking over to my side. "Comfy?". She nodded "I'm good".
We reached babies r us. Since they were closing I know they had some good sales. Walking inside we made our way to the strollers. Gia was checking out some and saw one she liked.
"You like this one?" I asked.
She nodded "but it's crazy expensive. I don't want you breaking your pockets".
"Gia I have money. More than what you probably even know about. Just get the stroller. Money is no object to me". She looked at me and back at the stroller "you sure?".
"Positive. Get it" she smiled big and pulled the stroller down. A woman came up to us "need any help?".
Looking at Gia struggling with the stroller "yes we need that stroller". The woman looked at Gia who was trying to get the stroller down. "This one?". She pointed at the one Gia was holding on to.
I nodded "that's it". The woman unlatched the stroller and slowly bringing it down. Walking away when I saw the cutest clothing. Leaving Gia and that woman to handle the stroller.

GIA POV
"Beautiful stroller isn't it?" The worker asked. I nodded "very and it's mine". The worker looked at me up and down "very expensive stroller too. Are you sure you can afford it?".
Tilting my head to the side "and that means what?" I asked.
"It means for someone like yourself I doubt you can buy this stroller so just run along" She fanned me away.
"Wow! For your information I was going to buy it but with that ignorant ass attitude you came to work with made me want to go shop somewhere else".
"It's people like you that makes it hard for other people to enjoy shopping. You come in here trying to spend out of your means and then get upset when I call you out on it. Run alone please before I call security" she threatened.
"Correction it's people like your ignorant racist small minded ass the reason our country is the way it is. I'll be more than happy to go shopping somewhere else. And your manager will be hearing from me. You'll be lucky to be working here by tonight. Dumb bitch!". Walking off to find Delano so we can leave.

DELANO POV
Seeing Gia walking up to me with nothing in her hand. I was confused didn't she say she wanted the stroller.
"Where's the stroller?" I asked.
"Can we leave?" She asked. Her arms were crossed against her chest.
"Already? You didn't buy anything" I said.
"I know let's go somewhere else. This place is— it's not important let's go". What the hell just happened?. Dropping everything I had we walked out the door and back to the car.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Nothing let's just go to another place" she didn't look at me at all. Her attention was focused outside her window. Her arms were still crossed against her chest. Something happened.
I started driving and kept glancing over at her. You can tell she was in a deep thought. What the hell was she thinking about?.
"You want to tell me why we left babies r us?" I asked.
"Because if I tell you you won't really understand" she mumbled.
"Try me" She started playing with her fingers "Well... that lady who helped us basically said that I couldn't afford the stroller so why was I there knowing I wasn't going to buy the stroller. She was being flat out racist".
"Wow!. Umm... I'm sorry that happened" I didn't really know what to say.
"Don't be sorry for her being ignorant. Her attitude just ruined my mood for the day. At this point I don't even feel like shopping anymore".
"You sure?" I asked.
She nodded "let's go home".
"How about some food to take home with us?"
I asked I was trying to make her feel better."Umm how about some wings? I could enjoy that" she said.
"Wings it is" I put my hand on her hand and gave it a squeeze just so she knows everything will okay. I could tell her feelings were a little hurt from what that lady assumed about Gia. Next time we go shopping I'll make sure to be by her side just Incase this happens again.
