Gia POV

Waking up I noticed I had a blanket over me. And I know damn well I didn't put that blanket on me. Looking around I see Delano sitting on the ottoman just looking at me. He looked like a sad puppy.

"Hey" he rubbed his hand threw his hair and sighed.

I didn't speak. I had no need to speak to him... not what he did to me last night. I covered my arm with my other hand hiding the bruise that formed in that spot.

"I figured you wouldn't speak to me. And you shouldn't after how I acted last night".

Not looking at him. What I saw last night was someone different it wasn't the Delano I know.

"I'm sorry. That's never happened to me before. There's someone about you that drives me to do what I did".

I know he isn't trying to justify what he did because he has some feelings for me...

"Gia?" He got up and took a seat next to me. "Please I'm so sorry. I promise you I will never act like that again. That's not me".

Still nothing. He put me in danger last night and the way he threw me inside the car... who knows what could've happened.

"You know what I'll let you stay home today. You can relax and sleep some more" He was trying to hard.

"No I want to go to work. I don't want to stay here alone" getting up I went to go get changed for work. Hopefully bria comes a little earlier so I don't have to be in the same room with this crazy fuck.

Since today was going to be hot again I had to apply sunscreen on my exposing skin. Forgetting I even had that stupid mark on my arm from last night. Delano stood at the doorway and watched me. "Can I help you?".

"Nope just making sure you're okay. I would hate for you to hate me" he looked down at my arm and almost fell apart "holy shit I didn't know it was going to leave a mark. I'm so sorry, Gia".

"Listen I'm fine Okay. Just leave me alone for today and eventually we can move past this. I don't know what came over you last night but make sure it doesn't happen again. And again, I can't keep repeating myself. We are not together so you have no right to get jealous over any guy I'm with".

"But also remember you're pregnant with our kid. No one else's. And well you're living with me. So in my book that makes us together".

"Not in my book. Last time I checked I'm single" pushing past him to grab my bag.

"Okay then would you be my girlfriend?" He followed me whenever I went in that house.

"Umm... let me think about it... no. I have to go to work" he stood there with his a smirk on his face. "I can bet you everything I own you'll be my girlfriend by the end of the week".

"Yeah ok buddy. Dream on..." walking out of that house because he was losing it.

Bria kept glancing at me as she drove. She didn't say much but I guess what happened last night was still playing in her head.

"Listen what he did was wrong, yes but it's over with can we move on from it?" I asked.

"I'm just amazed he came out and stalked you and then went crazy when Lee went to kiss you. Damn he's got it bad for you".

"Bitch I said watch your mouth. Don't ever say that. Delano is not into me like that. His last girlfriend was white for god sakes".

"And that means what? He can't like you because you're black?. Makes no sense. Like I said it's no secret he has feelings for you. Everyone at that job knows about it but you. Wake up!".

At this point I was done talking about Delano. We got to work and Bria turnt off the car and sat there. "Listen I'm only going to say this once. What he did last night was because he was jealous you was with Lee instead of him. I think he could've went a different way about it but he didn't. Delano isn't a bad guy. You can tell by the way he runs his business. Do I think he took an open opportunity to sleep with you? Yes. But he's trying to make things work between you and him for the sake of this baby? Yes. Name any other guy who you know would step up to a plate like that... exactly you can't name any. Yes, I know I call him buzz kill but I think Delano is good for you gia".

This bitch has lost her damn mind.

"Just think about it. He instantly talked you out of aborting this baby. He's been making sure you're okay and he's been at your doctors appointments. Shit between his girlfriend and him I predicted that wasn't going to last long. But he made it his mission for you to move in with him and he did it against your will but he did it anyway".

"I have a headache" holding my head up because all of this coming out of Bria's mouth just blew my brain up in pieces.

"Bitch point of this is... Delano and you are stuck together. Either way you look at it You two will be together. You can fight it as much as you want but trust me when I say you'll end up falling for him".

"I hate you".

"Hate me all you want but all of this I'm saying is the truth and you know it. Hmm... thinking about it I wouldn't be surprised this whole time you giving this man a hard time and you actually like him".

"Today isn't my day I see. I'm going to go clock in" I got out before she can continue. I didn't need a lecture today. And what the fuck does Bria know anyway.
