GIA POV
You know when people say... you get butterflies when you like someone? Well I guess my butterflies decided to show up. Ever since Delano bought that stroller I can't be nasty to him. The guilt eats me when I give him attitude.
Sitting on the bed as my shirt somewhat rolls up. Sighing since nothing and I mean nothing of my clothes fits me anymore. Delano came into the room "you Okay?".
I nodded "yeah just trying to get used to things not fitting anymore" trying my best to fix my shirt.
"Gia I told you those shirts won't fit you. I told you you can use my shirts just until the baby is born".
"Using guys clothes isn't my thing. But I guess I have to now" rolling my eyes in disgust that I have to share clothing with him.
"I get it! You want to be cute and pretty and still feel that way. But for now you have four more months to go. And you still are beautiful to me".
Blushing, I know I'm blushing. Where did this come from?!.
"Well thanks" shyly looking away from him so he doesn't even see one once of pink in my cheeks.
"Listen I've been thinking. My family wants to meet you. Now if you don't want to I won't force you".
"Umm... I don't know. You know how I can be and I don't want your family hating me". It's true sometimes my mouth gets the best of me and well people get offended.
"I know trust me. But I have your back. So if anyone gets out of line I'll handle them, okay?" He stared at me waiting for my response.
"I guess" he smiled and kissed my forehead "thank you".
Gia you're becoming to soft. You were never like this what is happening to you. My inner thoughts screamed at me.

When we pulled up to his mothers house I was nervous. Unless I had gas but I don't think so. Delano was glancing at me every now and then. He must've felt the nervousness radiating off of me.
He leaned over and grabbed my hand "it'll be okay". Turning to him I smiled "let's get this over with". Getting out the car and slowly waddling to the front door. He wrapped his arm around my waist "relax".
The door opened to reveal a short woman with blonde hair that was up to her shoulders. You can tell she had some type of cosmetic surgery. She didn't look like Delano though. "Welcome come on in" she said.
Delano let me walk inside first. I walked in but didn't go far. He came up behind me. "Mom this is Gia".
His mother eyed me up and down and then stopped at my stomach. I focus so much on body language and hers wasn't welcoming at all.
"Well Gia?. Nice to meet you" his mother faked smiled at me. I was trying not have the normal Gia come out tonight.
I nodded "yeah sure". Delano looked at me and back at his mother "you wanted to meet the girl who's giving you a grandchild. Well here she is".
His mother didn't really say much. Which was making a weird vibe in the room.
That's when his sister came running to me. "Gia what's up girl?" She smiled.
Smiling back "hey you live here?" I asked. She nodded "of course silly. Did you guys find out what your having?".
"I don't really want to know but your brother wants to know for whatever reason" I joked.
His sister looked at me "looks like your having a boy". How in the hell she know that?
"It's just a guess. Who knows it could be a girl" she laughed. His sister was always so happy go lucky.
His mother cleared her throat "so gia? Umm... you're having my sons child".
I nodded "yup". I had no interest in talking to this lady. Seeing how she's been since I've been here I already know she's faking it.
Delano watched how I seemed uncomfortable. He came up next to me and wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me to him. His mother just looked at us and stormed off somewhere.
"Well I see this is going oh so well" sarcastically speaking.
"I'm sorry. She can be a little over dramatic". If that's what he calls it. His sister came out and told us that his mom was ready to eat. No offense if you're going to be fake with me I'm not eating your food. I don't care how hungry I am.
"I'm not hungry" I lied.
"Then it's okay don't eat. I want you to feel comfortable". I didn't say anything we just walked to the dining area. Taking our seats his mom just watched me in disgust.
"So Delano guess who I ran into today?" His mom said.
"Who?" He asked.
"Your wonderful ex girlfriend. She seems to miss you a lot. You guys together was such a good thing". Here we go.
"Mom I already told you. It's not happening. I'm with Gia now and I'm happy. Let me be".
"No offense Gia, but his ex girlfriend was the love of his life. That's why they were together for so long". Rolling my eyes cause this woman is dying to get a rise out of me.
"None taken. Trust me" I smiled.
"How come you aren't eating?" His mom asked.
"I'm not hungry. And I wouldn't dare touch his slop that you call food". His mother sucked in a breath "Delano are you going to let this thing talk to me like that?".
"Mom you started it". His mom looked at him surprised.
"Anyway are we done here. I'm tired and I need real food. No offense though" smiling big at his mom. Delano nodded and helped me up. "Let go".
"You're leaving already?!" His mom asked.
"Yeah Gia is tired and she's hungry" Delano said.
"Oh, well when I see you know who I'll let her know to call you and try to work things out" she yelled.
Shaking my head I continued to walk ahead of Delano. I'm so over this bull crap.
"Hey wait up" Delano said running to me. He turned me around "don't listen to anything my mom said. She's crazy".
"I'm just hungry!. I need food" I whined. He smiled and kissed me "okay I'll get you food". I mean I don't usually follow up on bull crap but his mother I feel will try and get his ex back with him.
