DELANO POV

"Well I saw—" Gia was in the midst of speaking but my phone rang interrupting her. Seeing who it was I excused myself "when I come back then you can finish what you were saying, okay?". She frowned "okay".

Walking inside I peaked to see Gia was cleaning up. "Hello?".

"Delano everything is set. You'll have a magical night tomorrow" the guy said.

"Thank you so much. I can't believe I'm finally doing this" I said.

"You love her the way you say. Then that's why you are doing this. And plus, she'll be totally surprised when you propose" he said.

"Thanks so much" I smiled ending the call. Walking back to where Gia was but she wasn't there. Damn, she cleans up fast. Looking around for her I see she was in the kitchen.

"Hey sorry about that. Business call. Now what were you going to tell me?" I asked. She glanced at me "nothing important". Nodding "Okay... oh tomorrow night we will be going out. So don't make any other plans".

She raised her brow "like a date night? Cause we hadn't had one of those in a long time".

"Yeah a date night. We deserve it" I said. She smiled and finished cleaning up. Walking away I turned to look at her and I couldn't believe she was about to be my wife soon enough. And she has no idea what's in store for her.

GIA POV

I know, I know... why didn't I tell Delano about Noah. I don't even know. Just wasn't in my frame of mind to actually tell him. Plus, when his phone interrupted us I lost my train of thought.

"Are you okay?" He asked. Sitting up in the bed I just watched kairo in his bassinet. "Yeah I'm fine". He nodded and went back to sleep. I doubt I'll see Noah again anyway. Putting my mind to rest I laid down and closed my eyes.

The next morning Delano was just all smiles. Which was a little odd for me but hey if he's happy I'm happy. "I made breakfast" he said.

"You did what? And the house is still standing?" I joked.

"Very funny... but I'll remember that when you taste how good my pancakes are" he said. Ryan came in rubbing his eyes "I'm hungry".

"Well daddy made breakfast" I said. Ryan wide eyed me "huh?".

"Yup he made breakfast. All of it" I said. Ryan took a cautious look around and then back at me. Shrugging my shoulders cause I honestly didn't have an answer for him. He took a seat and just waited.

"Breakfast is served" Delano said placing the two plates on the table. Ryan and I glanced at each other for someone to make the first move.

"Oh come on guys. Gia you go first" he said. Sighing I picked up my fork and took a pancake. Looking at it, it didn't look non cooked or nasty. Delano pouted a little syrup on it. "Go ahead... taste it". Why did that comment remind me of that night?. Swallowing a large lump in my throat. I cut a small piece and slowly put it in my mouth. But when the taste hit my taste buds it was actually good.

"Well damn who knew daddy can throw down?" I teased. Ryan released a breath "oh thank god". With that we all sat and ate.

DELANO POV

After all that they actually liked my pancakes. They have no faith in me what so ever. After they were done I wanted to clean up alone. Today was a special day and I didn't want anything to ruin it.

Gia walked past me holding kairo with Ryan walking along side her "we are going to be in the back". I nodded "okay".

Humming some songs while I got this kitchen cleaned from the mess I made. Hearing an text alert go off. But it wasn't my phone. I ignored it. Washing the pan I used the text alert went on again. Just it was the same text though.

Weird how Gia doesn't have her phone with her. Looking to see where her phone was. It was plugged into the charger. Not wanting to go check it cause I trust her. Plus, the way she's been acting I know she's not doing anything she's not suppose to.

Going back to what I was originally doing. Peaking to see them in the back and Ryan was running around. While Gia was sitting down feeding kairo. The scenery was beautiful to watch. Gia looked at me and waved at me. Going to the door and sliding it open "can you get me my phone, please?" She asked.

Closing the door I walked over to the phone and unplugged it. When I did that her phone lit up. There was an message from Noah. Dammit I forgot to change her number. Looking at the door and back at her phone. Sliding the text so it'll open.

"Nice seeing you the other day! Despite what your boyfriend says I'm not a bad guy".

When the hell did she see him? And why?. Should I delete the text? And then confront her? Or should I just show her the text and go off?. I'm trying to make this day special and be happy. But this text just sent me in a dark place.

Not realizing I was standing there with her phone in my hand. She opened the door and came in "did you find my phone?". I turned around with it in my hand and you can see the text screen on. She was about to say something but stopped. We just stared at each other for a minute.

I don't know if today would be the best day for the proposal...
