"Mommy can we go the park? I'm bored" Ryan said sitting next to me. "Yeah we can go I'm done with my homework anyway" closing the laptop. Thank god this school supplies certain things if you don't have it. Grabbing my keys and phone we headed outside. This condo has a park on site which makes my life much easier.
We made our way to the side of the building and Ryan ran off to open the gate. I walked in and closed the gate not really noticing anything around me. Pulling up social media on my phone to see what I missed out on.
"Gia?" I heard an unknown voice say. Looking up I see it's the same guy who broke down that day. "Umm hey?". He definitely looks a lot different than when I saw him. These white men are going to get me in trouble.

"Sorry if I'm disturbing you. But I saw you and I wanted to come over and apologize for being the reason you and your boyfriend were fighting".
"Umm... that's okay. Don't worry about him we were on a downward spiral anyway" I smiled.
"Yeah but still I heard what he said to you and I believe no man should speak to a woman like that. I don't care how mad one can be... you don't talk to a women the way he spoke to you".
"Do you live here?" I asked changing the subject.
"No, my sister lives here. I'm babysitting today. That's my niece playing over there" he pointed to a girl who was jumping next to Ryan.
"Oh... what a great uncle you are" I teased.
"Well... I try. What brings you here?" He asked.
"I live here now" I said. He raised his brow "didn't you live in that big house?".
"I used to... but now me and my son live here" looking at him he was just all in what I was saying.
"Sorry to hear that" he said.
"It's whatever at this point. I'm just focusing on making a better life me and my kids" I said.
"Kids?" He asked.
"Well Ryan and I'm two months pregnant as well" he covered his mouth "really? And he said all those things to you? That's crazy".
"I'm okay though I feel like I did the right thing by leaving" I said. He nodded "I'm happy you left. That situation just seemed toxic".
Silence filled the air for a short time. He got up and turned to me "Well we should be going. But do you mind if I maybe called you sometime? I mean... yeah" he nervously ranted.
Thinking about it "yeah sure let me put it in your phone for you" he smiled "sure" handing me his phone. Typing away... when I was finished I gave it back to him. "Bye Gia" He said.
"Bye Noah" I said smiling. Seeing his niece run after him as they left.

DELANO POV
Walking into this dinner that I wasn't feeling. All I wanted to do is mop around in my home. But business is business. Ava spotted me and waved me down.
"Delano so happy you could make it" she said smiling. I faked a smile back. Taking my seat next to her I see the other guys in their own conversation. "I'm happy your girlfriend allowed you out tonight".
"Listen Ava I don't want to talk about Gia, okay" I said looking at the menu.
"Everything okay?" She asked.
Sighing loudly "not really... we got into an argument and it was pretty bad. And she decided that we needed a break and she moved out and took my kids with her. So right now I'm not the happiest person".
"Wow! Sorry to hear that" she said.
"Yeah sure... did you guys order yet?" I asked.
"Nope we were waiting for you to show up. Listen things happen for a reason. We may not know the real reason. But you can't be so depressed. She left on her own. It's not like you made her leave" she said.
I didn't say anything. I don't want to talk about Gia plain and simple.
"Now since she's out of the picture you can finally be with someone who can lift you up. Not bring you down. That's all she was doing anyway" she said.
"Ava what did I say when I got here?. So why are we still talking about her?" I asked.
"Because you are depressed over a woman who can't bring nothing to the table. All she brought was two kids. That's it. Sometimes bringing more to the table or sharing the financial responsibilities can make a relationship better. But when one person is paying everything it puts a strain on it".
Closing my eyes cause she was really annoying the shit out of me. I was already in a deep funk because I lost my family and his woman won't stop talking about Gia. She's not helping at all.
"Ava... I didn't want gia to work. It was my choice to keep her home so she could raise our son. Gia did want to work but I told her no for what?. Money isn't an issue with me. As a long as my family is okay and happy then I'm good".
"Oh so you used the no work so she couldn't leave you. She would have to depend on you for everything. Smart... too bad she didn't figure that out until two kids later" she said.
Slamming my fist on the table "if you don't shut up about Gia I'm going to lose it. She just left me not too long ago. It's still fresh and to tell you the truth it still hurts. One thing I cherish more than anything is family. And right now when i go home it's empty. I miss my family. I don't give a fuck what you have to say. You don't know anything about Gia. So please stop talking about her". She shifted herself in her seat and smirked.
