Chapter 55 - Shadows

Kinabukasan... lulan ng Van na minamaneho ni Robert  sila Damon, Ryzza, John, Amie, Iza, Uno at Kiara. Kasama naman ni Dean sa Kotse si Leslie at Raine

Leslie:  Sayang naman bakit hindi sumama sila Tito Denver?

Dean:  Hindi pa kasi nabasbasan man lang si RJ (anak ni RR).  Ayaw ibyahe ni Tita Dei.  

Raine:  Tapos sila Tisoy at Rose ang susundo kila  Tito Kenji.

Nauuna ang sasakyan ni Dean at dinala sila ni Dean sa The Inn at Cliffhouse Tagaytay.  Sinalubong sila ng Manager ng lugar pagkapark pa lang nila ng sasakyan.

Ryzza:  This is a bed and breakfast?  Mukhang maganda ha.

Dean:  Yes Ma, it's quiet, it has a nice view and we have it for ourselves.

Damon:  Ano?

Dean:  Well, this is a place I found before if Leslie wanted a simple wedding.  But we both know I cannot have a simple one since R&R expects me to have a huge wedding. So, naisip ko, I'll just treat you here for something like a pre-wedding staycation.  The place only has 4 luxury suites so you see tayo pa lang puno na agad ang accommodation nila for the weekend.  So I took all the four luxury suites. You will love the view and the rooms I promise.

Manager:  Good morning Sir Dean?

Dean:  Yes, that's me! Good morning!

Manager:  Welcome to The Inn at the Cliffhouse.   Follow  me please.

Sumunod naman silang lahat.  Magkaholding hands si Dean at Leslie at nakaakbay naman ang kabilang braso ni Dean kay Raine.

Dean:  I hope you'll like the place Sis, and I really hope you can relax here.

Dinala sila sa receiving area ng lugar. 

Manager:  Sir, pahiram na lang po ng Credit Card and your ID so our receptionist can process your documents.  Just leave your things here. A staff will safe keep it for you while we go around.    

Ibinigay ni Dean ang Credit Card at ID niya, iniwan nilang lahat ang mga luggage at bags nila sa reception area at umikot sa lugar kasama ang manager.  Ipinakita nito sa kanila kung saan isineserve ang breakfast.  Dinala din sila sa event area at sa view deck.  Matapos ang kalahating oras na paglilibot...

Ryzza:  Raine... what do you think?

Raine:  It is lovely, quiet. I love the place Mom...  I wish I can have my wedding here.

Dean:  Be careful what you wish for Sis.

Ngumiti sa kanya at kumindat si Dean.

Raine:  That is... kung makikita ko pa ang groom.

Pabirong sinabi ni Raine ng nakangiti sa kanila.  Lumapit si Amie at inakbayan si Raine.

Amie:  I'm sure makikita mo pa siya and I'm sure magugustuhan din niya ang lugar na ito.

Bumalik na sila sa receiving area... 

Manager:  There are 4 Luxury Suites Sir  Dean, we will have to get the names for each Suites.  The  Brant Point and Montauk Point Suites are both A 75 square meter middle suite with 2 premium queen beds, en suite bathtub and private terrace.  While the West Quoddy and Minot's Ledge are both a 100 square meter corner suite with 2 premium queen beds, that opens to a private terrace and an outdoor Jacuzzi.

Dean:  Dad, Tito John... gusto po ninyo yung may outdoor jacuzzi.

John :  Naku hindi na okay na kami ni Tita mo doon sa wala basta may private terrace overlooking the lake.
