Chapter 27

Michael's POV

I wake up around 5:30, my arms still hooked around Danni's torso. I look at Danni. Fast asleep. Tears dry and crusted on her cheeks, she had clearly only just gotten to sleep.

A couple hours later Danni wakes up. She runs her eyes then fall straight back on the pillow, I can tell the events of yesterday just replayed in her head. I kiss her on the forehead and get up to make her breakfast.

I walk back upstairs with a tray of Nutella on toast for her and Vegemite for me. But when I get up to her room she's no longer in bed, she's dressed and packing her suitcase.

"What are you doing?" I say quietly trying not to wake Karen.

"We are going back to Paris. You are playing them shows. Now pack" she instructs whilst throwing clothes into the suitcase.

"No we aren't" I insist getting the recently packed clothes out of the suitcase again messing with her.

"That's what he would have wanted, he would have wanted us to stop everything just for him" she says before sitting on the bed and putting her head in her hands. I sit next to her and put my arm around her, to which she leans into me.

"It's up to you, but I don't think this is a good idea" I say softly and she nods.

"I want to go to Paris, this place is just a constant reminder" she says, even though she's packed her brothers jumpers.

We say goodbye to Karen, again, and leave for the plane to Paris, the show is tonight, it's going to be very rushed but we can do it.

Once on the plane, Danni cuddles the teddy bear I brought her on the way to the UK. I kiss her on the cheek, I feel as if I do these cute gestures, she may feel better. I'll do anything.

After a long journey to Paris, we finally arrive around 4pm leaving me 3 hours till I need to be on stage. I already missed last nights performance. Shit. I forgot about Ash, Luke and Cal. They were going to get a plane today to the UK. Once I got phone signal I called them.

*ring ring* Calum picks up on the first ring

"What's up man?" Cal asks uncertain.

"Nothing, we are back in Paris, don't get the plane, we are playing tonight" I say rapidly down the phone, as if that matters.

"Are you sure?" he asks

"That's what she wants" I say quietly. "Pick us up in 10?"

"Of course" Calum says before putting down the phone.

10 minutes later, on queue Calum is there waiting for us. He gets out and give Danni a massive hug and asks if she's alright.

Once we get in, I get changed as fast as possible for the show which is now in half an hour. Once dressed I drag Danni out the door and the boys follow.

"You're coming" I say before opening the car door. Dave drives as fast as he could legally to get there on time so we can have a little rehearsal without being too late.

Once we got there there is already at least 10,000 people there which is very daunting. There's 5 girls that look very familiar waving at us as we walk in. I brought Danni on stage because I didn't know where she would go, if don't want her to be on her own. Wait a second, those 5 girls are Charlotte, Ruby, Amba, Abi and Lauren, Karen must have told them, they are front row all most jumping over the barrier. As Danni spot them I give her a little nod and she goes to them and Dave lifts her over the barrier.

During Eighteen, all I can focus on is her and her friends jumping around screaming our lyrics back at us, she's having a great time. I love her friends, they are all so supportive.

"Wait a second guys" I say at the end of Eighteen.

"What's up mate" a sweaty Ashton says.

"I just want to say something to y'all, I know I tweeted yesterday saying we wouldn't be playing tonight, the only reason we are playing is because of this amazing girl, who is front row. She hasn't had the best of news but she wanted me to play tonight. So thank her, I would also like to say how much I love you Danni, and how much you mean to me, I can't imagine life without you." I say forgetting about the now at least 20,000 people staring silent at me whilst I make this speech. Dave gets Danni up on stage. "This is the girl that has made me a better person, it's all down to her that I'm this happy, and of course all of our incredible fans" I take her hand and kiss it making the audience go crazy with screams and 'aw's. Once Dave walks her back to Charlotte, Ruby, Amba, Abi and Lauren I decide to change the sings around a bit and play 'The Only Reason' just because it reminds me of her.

Once the concert has finished we take the girls backstage to our dressing room, in which we are accompanied by One Direction.

"Danni! how are you?" Harry says as he walks through the door.

"I'm alright thank you, yourself?" she says, i can tell she's clearly trying to act strong in her brothers grey sweater.

Niall's POV

As soon as I walked in my eyes went to the beautiful girl wearing a 1D jumper, Charlotte. She looked beautiful.

"Hey Charlotte" I say as she is on her own

"Hi Niall" she says with a teeth baring grin.

"You look beautiful" fuck! why did I say that! I mentally slap myself as she blushes.

"Um thank you" she says looking at the floor, she doesn't know she's beautiful.

Once the girls leave to go back to their hotel, we go back to ours, I made sure I booked a hotel with a double bed instead of two singles because I know Danni wouldn't want to sleep on her own, and well, neither do I. We go straight to sleep when we get home after the tiring eventful two days we've just dealt with.
