Danni's POV

I step out of Michaels car and he takes me by the waist and turns me to face him.

"Don't worry, she won't bite" he said kissing me on the forehead. He can tell I'm nervous. A small cottage type house with a big green garden with beautifully arranged flowers in the flower bed either side of the beige stoned pathway. He takes my hand in his and we walk up the pathway to the beautifully carved wooden door. Michael knocks 3 times and it takes a matter of seconds for his mum to answer.

The door flies open and a stunning woman is standing there, blonde and looking around 30 years old.

"Oh my god! Mikey! I have missed you so much!" she wraps her arms around his neck so tight it looks like she's suffocating him and starts crying into his shoulder. Bless her, must be so hard to go without seeing your son for months on end.

"You must be Danni? I've heard a lot about, even more beautiful than described" she says looking sideways at Michael, embarrassing him.

"Oh is that so?" I elbow Michael which makes him chuckle. Within seconds she wraps her arms around me in a tight hug.

"Oh I forgot to say. I'm Karen, it's so nice to meet you!" she gives me a teeth-baring grin. She's so nice.

"I love her" I whisper to Michael, which makes him smile. "it's so nice to meet you , you're so nice!" My voice breaks, and she smiles at the compliment.

"Come in, don't just stand out there" she says pointing inside her beautiful home. "Going to order a curry and popadoms, is that alright?"

"Yes, lovely! I love popadoms!" I smile knowing Michael does too as I see his smile getting bigger at the mention of 'popadoms'.

Throughout dinner we couldn't stop talking, Karen is so funny and nice, I feel like I'm close to her already. Michaels so lucky to have her as a mum. After we've finished dinner it's late and Michael decides we should go.

"Stay tonight, I don't wanna say goodbye" Karen says grabbing Michael by the arm. "I haven't seen you in so long, please don't go" I can see tears forming in her eyes. I give Michael a sympathetic look.
