Chapter 74

Michael's POV

We go back to our room and watch Friends for a bit. I put my arm around her and she turns into me and rests her head and hand on my chest. I hear Dannis breathing getting heavier so I turn the TV off and wrap my other arm around her and fall asleep.

My alarm sounds at 9am.

"Turn that fucking thing off" she groans.

"Okay, okay, looks like someone doesn't want to go swimming with horses" I say, turn the alarm off and turn around to go back to sleep. I feel her hands creep up my back and rest on my side, resting her chin on my rips. I pretend to be asleep.

"Michael" she shakes me. I turn my head to face her.

"Yeah?" I say acting confused.

"Get dressed! Let's go swimming!" She says and jumps over me and hops out of bed.

We get dressed and walk outside to the silver jag waiting for us.

"Your Michael Clifford?" The woman says as I get in the car.

"That's me!" I smile whilst fastening my seatbelt.

"My daughters a massive fan of 5 Seconds Of Summer! Would you mind signing this for me?" She says and hands me a scrap piece of paper and a pen.

"Does she have a phone?" I ask and she nods. "I could ring her?"

"Oh would you! She would love that!" She says and hands me her phone. "Her names Lucy"

"Hello? Mum?" Lucy says down the phone.

"Nope" I joke.

"Wait. Who is this?" She questions.

"I thought you would know me" I laugh, I hear a squeal down the phone almost deafening me.

"Michael! How?!" She says excitedly.

"I'm here with Danni, we are going swimming with horses and your mum said you're a massive fan" I explain.

"Oh my god. I love you" she cries

"Aw love you too babe" I smile even though she can't see me "I've signed something that your mum will give you later"

"Oh my, thank you!" She breathes. "I can't believe this is actually you!"

"It's me. I think" I laugh. I hear a cute giggle sound on the other end.

"I love you Michael!" She says.

"Love you too Lucy. I have to go now, I'm at the horse place. Bye sweetie!" I say and she lets out a small cry.

"Bye Michael! Thank you so much!" She says before hanging up the phone. I pass the phone back to her mum.

"I think you've just made her life" she smiles taking the phone.

We walk around to the horses.

"Hey guys, I'm Yannis" a small man says walking around the horses.

"Have any of you rode before?" He asks and we both shake our heads.

"Right. Michael? You take that horse" he points to a big black horse which is kind of threatening me.

"Danni you take that one?" He points to a small brown and white patched horse. "Her names sunrise"

"You're beautiful aren't you?" She says stroking Sunrises mane them flinging her leg over her back an climbing on. Wow she sure showed me what to do. I grab the saddle and attempt to pull myself up but end up falling down. I try numerous times but keep falling. Yannis walks over and helps me up making me feel embarrassed.

We trot down the road, each bump making my crotch hurt. I look back at Danni who has a smile on her face talking to Sunrise.

"You okay?" She shouts to me.

"Yes fine!" I shout back. We approach a hill, a steep hill making me feel sick. "We are going up there?" I say looking up the steep green hill.

"Yes, we have to go faster now. I'm going to tie you and Danni together so we don't loose any of you" he says to me climbing off his horse and attaching a rope to my horses tail and attaching it to Dannis horses mouth.

"Shit" I whisper to myself as we begin to gallop up the uneven steep path. I cling onto my horse for what feels like dear life for the majority of the way up. We reach the top of the hill and the view is magnificent, I wish I could take a picture. Before I know it we start cantering down the hill making me feel the most scared I've ever been. We reach the pebbled beach we are swimming in and Yannis ties to horses to the trees. We change into our swim suits and walk down to the beach.

Yannis brings down our horses...without saddles.

"What's this?" I ask

"You, you in there, with these, no saddles" he stutters.

"Actually like deep?" I ask gesturing with my hands.

"Yes deep, very deep" he says and leads the horses into the water and we follow. Danni climbs straight on the horse then helps me up so I am straddling her. The horse jolts to a start and starts swimming.

"Woah" I say clinging onto Danni making her laugh.

"You alright?" She asks and looks back

"Yeah woa-" I scream slipping off the back of the horse.

"Michael!" She laughs as I hit the water with a loud splash. I move my arms rapidly in a doggy paddle trying to catch up with the moving horse. As soon as I reach the horse Danni slips off too followed by a scream which sends me into hysterics.

"Hey! You slipped off too" she defends herself splashing me in the face.

The ride back is as painful as before. When climbing off the horse I can't walk properly, my crotch in so much pain. We climb in the car and head back to the hotel. By the time we are back we decide to go to sleep before going out again tonight. As soon as my head hits the pillow I'm asleep.
