Chapter 6, Celebrations.

*Lucy's POV*

FOLLOWING THE PRANK, WE DECIDED WE WOULD stop for Christmas. We each had our own thing to do. When we found the hangout, we decided to clean and repair it. When we finished we all had our own different places.

Mine was cyan blue and turquoise. I had a picture of the sea, which was amazing since it moved, I also had a little bookcase, Remus had one too. There was a blanket spread out in the floor and a little canopy over it. I also had a dream catcher and a empty painting for the wolf to be in. In my cozy nook I had put a charm for it look like the night sky. Remus' had a similar one to mine.

He had a natural look. He had a little plant on the corner, a painting that he bewitched to look like the moon stages of the day. He had a bookcase, a peach colored blanket, and a little drawer full of his ugly sweaters for Christmas as well as some socks, he was a total nerd.

James' was Gryffindor related, very scarlet and gold colors, as well as a poster of his favorite quidditch team. He had a little lamp in the corner and a lion plushie I had gifted him.

Sirius' had a black blanket, with a white pillow, (everyone had one,) and a poster of his favorite Quidditch team. He also had a picture of the whole lot of us, since I had brought a muggle camera and fairy lights I had insisted he put. Peters' had a fuzzy grey blanket, a little plant on the corner and a beanie on the floor, "Just in case," he said. He also had a extra blanket this time almond brown.

He also had a picture of us. In the middle, which we considered our "living room" we had a rug with Gryffindor colors, and fairy lights that I had insisted we put. There was a Muggle radio that didn't work, as much as we had tried. We then got wizard radio that was putting Christmas songs.

This was a going to be an awesome Christmas. On Christmas Eve, me and Remus stayed up all night on the attic/hangout. Everyone else was asleep. I kept an alarm and noticed that it was 7am. "Remus!" I said, "Merry Christmas!" "Already?" Remus said, "Happy Christmas too." "Remus!" I said tugging on his arm, "You don't get it! Our presents! Let's go get them!"

  After realizing, we ran down the stairs and ran to get James, Sirius, Peter, and Lily. "Lily!" She turned to face me "It's Christmas!" She looked at me and said "Happy Christmas!" "Yeah, yeah you too, but our presents!" "Let's go." After everyone was there, we opened our presents. "From: James," I shook the present, "Hmmm," I opened it and got a album for muggle pictures that, could work on our cameras, and some chocolate, the same as the painting, "James! Thank you!" I got present and handed over to him, "Cool!" It was a Gryffindor banner.

"Here you go Remus," I handed it over and said, "I wonder what it is," when he opened it, his eyes lit up, "Yes!" He said, "Thank you!" He ate the chocolate and put the books aside. "Here's yours," he handed one to me and to Lily, "Me?" Said Lily, "Yeah, you're our friend too." She smiled and opened it, it was a blanket and a sweater. "Aww, thanks." I opened mine and got a hand knit sweater with my initial L, as well as a dark chocolate bar and the book Quidditch through the Ages. "Ooh, Thanks Remus."

I gave mine to Sirius and Peter and they gave me mine too. I opened Sirius' present and got a album for muggle pictures that, could work on our cameras, and some chocolate. "Oooh, Thanks Sirius." He smiled in return. Peter got me a poster of the sea, which had a charm on it which could change locations. "Thanks Peter."

After opening the presents we went to the Great Hall for breakfast. It was nearly empty. The mail then came in. "Ooh," I said as Noah came to me. I opened it and found a owl plush. Everyone knew I loved plushies after all. After eating, Lily went with her friends and we stayed together.

We went to the attic and hung out. "This is the best Christmas ever." I said, "Agreed." Said Sirius, "Yeah." Said Peter, "Definitely." Said James, Remus just nodded, not paying attention to us. I threw a throw pillow I had at Remus, "Hey!" said Remus, "I'm multitasking." "Sure......" I said, "Look I know that book is interesting but pay attention to us!" Sirius the said, "We need attention," he made a dramatic gasp and said, "Or we die!" Remus looked at him dead in the eye and said, "That would be an improvement." I burst out laughing rolling in the floor for dramatic effects. "You. are. a. drama. queen." said Remus and threw the throw pillow back at me. "Ow!"

      It was night and we were in our hideout. They were all asleep but I was thinking, looking up at my sky. Why does Remus leave every month. And I knew that neither of them knew. We had discussed it, but didn't look much into it. I fell asleep with Remus' sweater he gave to me and Sirius' wolf plush. Sirius' gift meant a lot.
